The Playboy Mansion is often a time of old-school, traditional romance, and never more so than this past weekend, when former Playmate
Kendra Wilkinson and professional football player
Hank Baskett got married.
It was,
according to PEOPLE, a week-long festivus of sorts, with Kendra and Hank attending the
Transformers premiere (see picture), getting spa-pampered, yada-yada-yada and eventually getting married Saturday at the mansion.

Leadership is a funny thing,
Tony Romo said a few weeks ago.
When you're winning football games nobody says anything about it. When you're losing, everybody talks about the lack of it.
Thursday afternoon,
Terrell Owens made note of the lack of leadership in his last season with the Cowboys -- a year that ended with a 9-7 record and no playoff berth. Notably, Owens singled out Romo, his quarterback of the last three seasons for not being a leader.
It's funny, but Owens never questioned Romo's leadership abilities before. But now, Owens is of the belief that the quarterback had something to do with him getting released by the Cowboys.

There's a
report the
Eagles want quarterback
Donovan McNabb to retire in Philadelphia.
The question is: What do you pay McNabb?
"I'm not going to get into that," coach
Andy Reid said Thursday afternoon. "I stay away from those contract things. We'll just see how things go down the road here. I think everyone knows that we are very honored to have Donovan here, a lot of our players are, and I think the city feels that way, and surely the organization feels that way."
Well, Thursday night we found out. The Eagles, according to ESPN, have restructured the last two seasons of McNabb's contract.
"We are thrilled that this all worked out," Eagles president Joe Banner said in a statement. "He is a great football player, a great person, and someone who gives back to the community. We are lucky to have him in Philadelphia."
McNabb was scheduled to earn a base salary of $9.2 million this year and $10 million in 2010.

The
NFL Supplemental Draft typically doesn't have a lot of names connected to it. The design of the supplemental draft was to give guys who have lost their eligibility a chance to latch on to a professional team without having to wait up of ten months to get drafted.
Rarely are there more than a couple notable players involved, and this year is no exception. The supplemental draft seems like the perfect situation for
Kentucky defensive end
Jeremy Jarmon, and he will attempt to take advantage of it.

It was a simple question toward two different
NFL players who responded the same. Why do you Twitter, Facebook, Yardbarker, MySpace?
"To get in contact and reach out to another level of fans I would never get to connect with,"
Terrell Owens of the
Bills said. "I had Myspace, Facebook, Twitter and its an interactive way for me to connect with all my fans."
Said
Cowboys tight end
Martellus Bennett: "I like to have fun. It's a chance for me to interact with people I don't know, which is the best thing ever. It's pretty fun. The blogging I do is a chance for me to express my mind."

It doesn't matter how long
Terrell Owens stays with a team, his name always comes up when he leaves. In the three seasons Owens was in Dallas, he used games against the Eagles as public venting sessions about
Donovan McNabb and Andy Reid.
Now, Owens is in Buffalo, and he talked to FanHouse on Thursday afternoon about his release from the Cowboys. Owens said he talked to owner
Jerry Jones twice about rumors he was going to get let go. Jones, according to Owens, told him he was fine.
But he wasn't.
The Cowboys cut Owens after three seasons.

The
Philadelphia Eagles have confirmed that running back
Brian Westbrook will have surgery to remove bone spurs in his right ankle, and the necessary recovery time of 2-3 months means that he might miss all of training camp and the preseason. And that leads me to wonder whether Westbrook is done as a legitimate starting running back in the NFL.

Former Cowboys defensive coordinator
Brian Stewart has joined the Eagles coaching staff,
according to various reports. Stewart spent the last two seasons in Dallas before he was fired following the 2008 season. with one year remaining on his contract.
Stewart did not return a call seeking comment.
In Dallas, Stewart had his play-calling duties taken away from him at midseason and fell out of favor with coach
Wade Phillips, whom he considered a close friend. Several players were split about how they felt about Stewart.
The Eagles made this move because of the uncertainty of current defensive coordinator
Jim Johnson. Johnson has taken a leave of absence while he undergoes treatment for a cancerous tumor on his spine.

The Eagles have a long history of whiffing on wide receivers drafted in the first (or second or third) round. Quarterback
Donovan McNabb arrived in Philly in 1999, and since then the front office has welcomed
Todd Pinkston,
Freddie Mitchell,
Billy McMullen,
Reggie Brown,
DeSean Jackson, and last month,
Jeremy Maclin.
If nothing else, the organization has gotten better at finding talent at the position, although it would take some effort to do worse than FredEx. Brown (a 2005 second-rounder) and Jackson (taken in Round 2 last year) have shown the most promise, but neither is a No. 1 wide receiver. And neither have to be; the flexibility of the West Coast Offense is accommodating like that.
