CFL's Arland Bruce Pays Tribute to Michael Jackson With TD Celebration

Kerry Joseph (no, not that Kerry Joseph)* Arland Bruce leads a relatively obscure life as a wide receiver for the Toronto Argonauts; such is life in the CFL. But something tells me Mr. Joseph* Bruce will be getting a little more attention soon. You see, the CFL is currently reviewing a recent touchdown celebration in which Joseph* Bruce honored Michael Jackson by pretending to be buried. See for yourself and then we'll debate!

Terrell Owens Holds Preemptive Apology Press Conference

On Tuesday, Brinson posted the video of Polish model Joanna Krupa clowning Terrell Owens on Superstars, the original reality show (now you know who to blame).

Something about T.O. hurting the team's chance to win. It was all very made-for-teevee in that it was candid, awkward, and forced. Good times.

Anyway, a day later, Owens issued a blanket apology for, well, everything he has done, or might do in the future. The apology was tongue-in-cheek and funny. And, for me, that's what differentiates T.O. from, say, Chad Ochocinco. He'll wreck your team, sure, but he also has the self-awareness to know he's doing it, and will even make jokes about it in the process. Don't get me wrong: I don't want him on my team, but the sideshow is wholly enjoyable from afar.

Michael Jackson Dies, Greatest Super Bowl Halftime Performer Ever

The shocking TMZ report that Michael Jackson died Thursday has repercussions that go far beyond the world of sports, but in our corner of the world, we should note that the King of Pop had the greatest Super Bowl halftime show performance in history.

Rashard Mendenhall [Allegedly] Shreds Through Michael Jackson's 'Thriller'

Not gonna lie: I'm a sucker for anything Michael Jackson related, pedophilia and creepy, stardust-covered jungle gyms aside. Music-wise, though, he really is tough to beat. It's why I loved Donovan McNabb's "Thriller" touchdown dance, and it's also why I watched the following video -- which, as PSAMP notes with the find, is allegedly Rashard Mendenhall -- like eight times. And frankly, whether it's him or not, I think Mendenhall should come out and claim that he's got moves like that anyway.

Terrell Owens Gets Chewed Out By Joanna Krupa on 'Superstars'

Joanna KrupaTerrell Owens has made many a teammate unhappy in his time as a professional athlete. (49ers, Eagles, Cowboys. Oh my.) But it's never his fault! Of course, when he appears on the reality show (reality, right?) known as "Superstars" and still manages to cheese off Polish model Joanna Krupa ... well, maybe it's time we see a pattern, no? Enjoy that, city of Buffalo. Should be a fun season.

Texans WR David Anderson Teaches the Conan O'Brien String Dance

David Anderson is a backup wide receiver for the Houston Texans who has scored exactly three touchdowns in his career. He's made the most of those touchdowns, as he got the attention of Conan O'Brien for doing a Conan string dance as a touchdown celebration. Above is a bravely funny instructional video Anderson recently did to teach others his sassy string dance moves.

Vince Young: I Don't Want to Be the Titans' Backup, But I Have No Choice

Titans quarterback Vince Young appeared on ESPN Thursday in an attempt to clear up previous comments in which he said he wants to start somewhere even if it's not in Tennessee, and then said through his agent that he wasn't looking for a trade. But while Young seems to have accepted that he's Kerry Collins' backup, he didn't really clear up much of anything.

Leinart a Hero To Inner-City Footballers

Elie Seckbach, the Embedded Correspondent, brings his exclusive video reporting to FanHouse. Check back regularly for more videos.

In the past few years, NFL quarterback Matt Leinart has been in the spotlight for all kinds of reasons, but not always for his on-field play. In this exclusive video we find out what Matt does when there are no cameras around and why he is considered a hero to some Los Angeles inner-city kids. As it turns out, Leinart -- USC's former Heisman Trophy winner -- owns and operates his own youth football league. In it, 150 kids, who otherwise could not afford to participate in such activities, are provided with equipment, lunch and transportation at no cost. Beyond football, though, Miguel Perez -- who coaches in the Leinart league -- says being part of a sports team can positively change a child's life.

Video of NFL Offensive Linemen Getting Destroyed on Game Show

If you channel surf any, I'm sure you have seen at least promos for the ABC show, Wipeout. The website for the show describes it as the "world's largest extreme obstacle course designed to provide the most spills, face plants and wipeouts ever seen on television."

Ellen DeGeneres recently invited her two favorite NFL offensive linemen, Ephraim Salaam (Detroit) and Chester Pitts (Houston) to go through the Wipeout obstacle course for her show. Imagine what she would have asked them to do if she didn't like them. (Painful hilarity ensues after the jump)

Vince Young Making It Rain?

Titans quarterback Vince Young is dedicating himself in the offseason to regaining his starter role. Or not.

According to a TMZ.com video and article, Young decided to make it rain at a Nelly concert in Houston last week by pulling out a roll of money and showering a crowd with dollar bills. The longer, cuss-worded version of the evening is on the YouTubes and includes an interview with Vince Young. He gives his support to Houston rapper Willie D of the Geto Boys, who was recently arrested for alleged iPhone scam.
