What? A funny video on You Tube involving Da Meat Hook? It can't be. But yes, it's true. Dmitri Young gets into it with pro wrestler "The Edge" in an old (circa 2005, I think) where Edge puts down Young, the Tigers, the Pistons, and even the Lions (shocking, I know) ... at the Joe Louis Arena no less. Meat Hook and the Detroit fans, who broke out into a totally spontaneous "Lets Go Red Wings" chant (probably the most spontaneous part of the whole show), get the last word and chase Edge off the stage.

Where are they now? Edge, who was blasted by Young for never having won a world title during the clip, went on to win two of them. Young, after being released from the Tigers after battling domestic violence charges and alcoholism, is now battling for the National League batting title.

Remember when Freddie Mitchell was a part of America's consciousness? Remember when he hairstyled his way into your heart while a member of the Philadelphia Eagles? Well let's take you back to a time long ago, before FredEx's hair was in full bloom, when Comcast Sports Net Philly sent him to interview a then unknown Scranton Wilkes Barre Red Baron who was Mitchell's baseball teammate at UCLA.

Mitchell, who as you could see made the wise choice in playing football over baseball (although some Eagles fans might disagree), is currently without a job. His unknown interview subject? You might have heard of Chase Utley.

Love the pop-up video aspect of the piece (complete with Freddie's baseball stats which include zero HR's while at UCLA), and look for cameos by Brett Myers and Marlon Byrd.

After we brought you the 1986 Mets singing and dancing, we have yet more evidence of musical talent from that team ... more specifically, Keith Hernandez and Mookie Wilson making a cameo for a Sesame Street Pledge Drive special from 1988. There are many great guest spots from outside the world of sports included also, including Pee Wee Herman and the late John Candy. Keith and Mookie appear at the 1:47 mark, and members of the New York Football Giants (Sean Landeta, Karl Nelson, Mark Ingram, and Carl Banks) are featured at around the 3:37 mark.
