Ted GinnThe Dolphins pulled receiver Ted Ginn from their starting lineup Sunday, just a couple days after telling him to "get better." Ginn responded by taking back-to-back kickoffs to the house in Miami's key 30-25 win over the Jets in New York -- busting loose for a 100-yard score early in the third quarter, then topping the feat with a 101-yard score just moments later.

Ginn, who was replaced in the starting lineup by rookie Brian Hartline, had no catches (though, to be fair, neither did Hartline), but Ginn rediscovering his big-play ability on special teams was a welcome sign for Miami.

Prior to Ginn's first breakthrough, the Dolphins and Jets were locked in an intense defensive battle. Feely's 55-yard field goal gave New York a 6-3 lead, but Ginn quickly turned the momentum.

On the Jets' ensuing possession, Ginn's teammate Jason Taylor scooped up a Shonn Greene fumble and took it 48 yards to the house for a 17-6 Miami lead. The Jets responded four minutes later when Mark Sanchez scored from one yard out, bringing New York back within four, but then Ginn struck again.

Ginn finished with six kick returns for 294 yards -- 201 coming on the two touchdowns -- as the Dolphins held off a late Jets' charge.

Miami's receiving corps didn't exactly excel in Ginn's absence, though. Davone Bess led the Dolphins' receivers with four catches for a measly 18 yards, Greg Camarillo hauled in one catch for 15 yards, and quarterback Chad Henne's seven other completions went either to tight ends or running backs.

Still, if this is what the Dolphins get when Ginn's allowed to focus exclusively on special teams, they might just keep him as a kick returner.
