It's the first question people ask whenever Terrell Owens joins a new team: when is he going to blow everything up with his me-me-me attitude?Well, uh, getcha popcorn ready.
In the Saints' 27-7 win over the Bills Sunday, Owens was held catchless in a game for the first time since Jan. 4, 1997, a 35-14 playoff loss for Owens' 49ers against the Packers.
Owens was curt in his responses to the media after the game -- when asked about his feelings regarding his catch-streak ending, Owens simply said, "It's over."
At one point, a reporter asked Owens if he felt that he and Lee Evans were being wasted in the Bills' current attack. Owens responded, "Guys, we're just going with the plays that are called." When the reporter then pressed Owens, stating, "You could have said no," thereby indirectly supporting Buffalo's in-game strategy, Owens reiterated his line again.
Bills quarterback Trent Edwards targeted him on a number of passes, but couldn't connect. He had Owens with a step deep on Saints corner Jabari Greer in the third quarter, but overthrew him. An earlier pass intended for Owens deflected in the secondary and led to an interception by defensive end Will Smith. The last target Owens got came with 3:17 left in the game. Edwards hit Owens on the sideline, but Owens couldn't stay in bounds.
It was part of a rough day all around for the Bills' offense, which didn't score a single point (Buffalo's only score of the game came on a fake field goal). Edwards managed only 156 yards and was sacked four times. Josh Reed led the team with six receptions, and Derek Fine had five.

The meltdown is just beginning in Buffalo. I'm sorry for all you Bills fans but this is going to get ugly, very ugly. Just as I predicted last March, TO will tear that team apart. Get your popcorn ready, indeed!

Saints go 3-0. They hold the #6 rated offense (to start the weekend) to 0 points (just a fake field goal). They lead the NFL in offense and lead the NFL with 14 3-and-outs with their defense. They hold T.O. to NO catches for the first time in 185 games.
So what do we get to read about? Whether or not T.O. is going to start tearing down another team.
It's ok though. Come January, us Saint fans will have plenty to talk about.

I hate bandwagon fans but it looks like they are comin out of the woodworks now for my Saints. At the beginning of the preseason i predicted they will go 12-4 this year and got LAUGHED AT. Still need to shore up the pass D a little but our two weakest areas (defense and running game) keep looking better and better every game and this team is really coming together. I said they would be an elite team last year also and i feel they would have been without ALLLL the injuries (16 outta 22 starters got hurt) . Even with that they still went 8-8 and 6 of those losses were by a COMBINED 18 points. So its not like the Saints have just come out of nowhere, this is an elite team....

T O is a complete waste, all he wants is the spotlight on him & no one else. It tickles me to death to see this happen to him, he is nothing but a complete disruption to any team that he is on. He sure isn't a good roll model for anyone.

I guess the problem was T.O in Dallas and not T.R... Romo has a near perfect game and T.O does not have a catch.... T.O is overrated and dropped way too many passes in Dallas. Buffalo gave the key to the city to this jerk off... I'm surprised he didn't drop the key and blame the Mayor for not placing it in his hands correctly... Loser....

Yes, I agree that T.O. gets in trouble a lot by speaking his mind when asked or not asked, but you can say what you want about his opinions, his record speaks for itself. A lot of people said the same about Mahamid ali, but his record was also there for everyone to see. At least when T.O. is asked he puts it all up front, unlike the Bills coach who keeps making excuses for the players that aren't playing well, because he wants them all to be his buddy. If he continues this losing season, this will be his last season!!

I really don't understand, why cant people just say the saints played a hell of a game they shut down T.O, WHO GIVES TWO FLYING FARTS IF HE BLOWS UP ON THE BILLS OR IF HE EVER CATCHES ANOTHER BALL, he isn't a saints player, and lord i hope he never becomes one, maybe after he messes up this team,he goes riding off into the sunset with his lil ball under his arm, but we do have to give him credit for his last interview when the press was clearly trying to make him blow up, but he didn't, but how long will that last, it;s comming and comming soon.
