Apparently, the decision to hover the world's largest HDTV within punt-blocking range of the playing field isn't the only problem with Jones Mahal, the Cowboys shiny new, $1.15 billion monument to 12 seasons of winless playoff football.
There's also the issue of some obstructed-view seats (via Shutdown Corner):
If you do the math, that's two out of 100,000 seats, which make for pretty good odds you'll have a view of the entire field. On the other hand, not being able to see the game would have come in handy for Cowboys fans during last year's Ravens game.
Maybe there should be a season-ticket plan that allows fans to relocate to different parts of the stadium depending on how the team is playing. It's all about perspective.

Rumor is that the NFL will make Jones raise the Screens and then "fine" any punter deliberately trying to hit it. I am all for this rumor, for those who try to hit it are attempting some sort of destruction of private property, no matter how small. These Fines will pay the cost of raising the TV up.
What ercks me even more that the moronic comments made about the Cowboys and Jones, is how the ESPN Sportscaster had NOTHING Negative to say about the Cowboys since the Circus left town but now they are trying so hard to make themselves sound so intelligent with their moronic attempts at laughter.

During the course of building the stadium, there was much debate over the height of the jumbotron. JJ placed it 5 feet higher, as required per NFL rules. The Titans punter admitted he was trying to hit it, I guess, so he could feel empowered that "he" hit it during a game lol
You know, anything about the Cowboys draws a viewership, so all the so-called sports writers/broadcasters are going to find something to write/discuss about the 'Boys so it will be read/heard LOL Wow, I am impressed you did not say Wade was in some way responsible ;)

Other Individual like Lyle Alzado and John Matusak maybe but not a whole team like the STEALERS. While all other NFL Teams had their share of fatboys, the Stealers Teams of the 70s were loaded with chisled physiques.....STERIODS maybe???
