Maybe new Broncos quarterback Kyle Orton thought, "I've seen Eli Manning AND Brett Favre pull this off -- it can't be that hard," right before he decided to heave a left-handed wobbler into the end zone that was predictably picked off by a Seahawks defender.
On the upside, it was his only interception of the night, a marked improvement from his three-pick performance in his Denver preseason debut last week. So maybe that'll stem the tide of "Oh my god, what has Josh McDaniels done?" sentiments from fans who have no idea what the long-term plan is for this organization. Or maybe it won't.
Either way, like it or not, Orton will almost certainly be the guy to replace Jay Cutler, and his effort against Seattle (18 for 26, 182 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT) is ... well, progress.
And if Orton can cut down on throwing the ball with his off-hand, he'll reduce his interceptions by 25 percent. In theory, anyway.
Thanks McDumbass! Bronco fans have you to thank for a mess that will continue for years to come as long as you're in charge. Why don't you see if you can piss off Champ Bailey??? I'm sure you can do it! Pat Bowlen also deserves an acknowledgement for orchestrating it all. I may be optimistic but I figure Denver will go 4-12 this season....
As a very long time Broncos fan, this game was so hard to watch, that I am not even sure I want to see the Bore-ton-McDorky show this year or any year!
Wow, lets wait for a actually game that counts till we start making wild predictions. Remember that Cutler was 2nd in the league last year for top number of picks.
Yeah......and those head lights are coming from Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Philly, Washington, Dallas, New England, San Diego, the Giants and Indy to name a few! CRUNCH TIME for Orton & boos for McDumbass........

Holy crap! The Broncos are in trouble. Is Josh McDaniels on crack? It is obvious now that he wasn't making personnel decisions in New England.
