After hearing how physical a camp the Rams are running under new head coach Steve Spagnuolo, injuries shouldn't surprise us. Thus, when Marc Bulger fell injured with a broken pinky on his right (throwing) hand, it didn't seem too shocking at first glance. That is, of course, until learning what actually happened: Bulger suffered a non-displaced fracture to his pinky due to an errant snap exchange from his center. He won't be wearing a cast and expects to be back in about two weeks. In the meantime, the person taking the snaps for the Rams' first-team offense will be none other than Kyle Boller -- the former first-rounder for the Ravens who compiled a 71.9 quarterback rating in 53 career games for Baltimore.
This would be pretty bad news for the Rams, but Bulger should have plenty of time to reacclimate himself into the offense before the season opener. Plus, he's not exactly a star himself. The Rams have gone 4-23 in his last 27 starts, in which time he's had a quarterback rating of just over 70, and thrown more interceptions than touchdown passes.
So, they are going to either have a bad quarterback, or one who has been a huge bust and didn't even play in 2008 (Boller).
Good thing they have Steven Jackson in camp and healthy.

It figures Bulger would get hurt. The backup qb's looked better anyway. At least they can move or get rid of the ball, unlike marc. He needs to use his feet more to make plays. Joe

I think this team has more issues than just Marc B. However, I still think he needs to be traded. I think he needs a new team, and an OL that is suited to his style of play. Also, he needs a coach that can run an offense around his style of QB.
