You can put aside all those concerns about Tom Brady losing a step, if an EA Sports simulation of the upcoming NFL season carries any weight.EA's projections have Brady winning the Offensive Player of the Year award and NFL MVP, throwing for 4,500 yards and 47 touchdowns, and guiding the 14-2 New England Patriots to a Super Bowl victory. Also joining the Patriots in the virtual playoffs were division winners Pittsburgh, Tennessee, San Diego, Philadelphia, Arizona, Atlanta and Chicago, with the Colts, Ravens, Giants and Panthers securing wild-card spots.
While the Jets failed to nab a postseason bid, quarterback Mark Sanchez is projected to take home the Offensive Rookie of the Year, while Washington's Brian Orakpo earns Defensive Rookie of the Year honors.
Patrick Willis of the 49ers takes home the Defensive Player of the Year, and Philadelphia's Andy Reid the Coach of the Year award.
EA's complete projected All-Pro Team is below:
NFL 2009 All-Pro Team:
Quarterback
Tom Brady, New England Patriots
Running Back
Michael Turner, Atlanta Falcons
Brandon Jacobs, New York Giants
Wide Receiver
Randy Moss, New England Patriots

This has to be the dumbest and yet most biased simulation. If your telling me that no one thinks Pittsburgh can repeat, then your as dumb as the people who organized the simulation. the reality is that Pittsburgh is the team to beat in Football. Not New England, not San Francisco, and certainly not Dallas. How can you name all those players you see and only have James Farrior? Um......excuse me, but does the name Santonio Holmes and Troy Polamalu ring a bell? How about Heath Miller and Big Ben? Apparently, the same people who did this simulation are probably Red Sox fans too. Absolutely retarded, just like the Brady fans who think he'll bring them into another Superbowl reign. The only thing Brady will bring them is another losing year. Keep dating Gretchen or whatever the hell her name is, and that'll be your job buddy. The Steeler nation is and will be the best.

I'm a Pats fan and like EA Sports' projection, but we'll have to wait and see how it plays out in real life... As long as the Pats biggest stars and role players stay healthy, I will say that they've got a better chance at making the playoffs, at least. I am pulling for them!!

What is with the man crush media guys have on Brady? If you just started watching the NFL and you listened to the media talk about this dude you would think that he won the last ten Super Bowls. Do Roethlisberger and Manning even exist in these guys world? I mean Brady is good, but nowhere near the god like status the media portrays him as. As far as predicting the champion this year, the bottom line is no one knows jack! In today's NFL anything can happen,i mean the Cardinals just played in a Super Bowl.Cue the theme music from Twilight Zone....

The Patriots will not win the Super Bowl because they have Randy Moss on their team,he never shows up for the big game, If you ask me I think that sales must be down on the east coast for EA Sports.....LOL

This is great! Now they don't even need to play the season. They can just go ahead and give the rings to the Patriots.
