Here's the list of the most-watched sports programs of the last week, which the NFL distributed to the media Wednesday after the Nielsen numbers came out:
NBC NFL Preseason (Bills-Titans), 7.9 million viewers
CBS Bridgestone Final Round (Tiger Woods won), 6.3 million viewers
ESPN Sunday Night Baseball (Red Sox-Yankees), 4.7 million viewers
FOX Baseball (Red Sox-Yankees & Rangers-Angels), 4.0 million viewers
ESPN NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (At the Glen), 2.5 million viewers
Obviously, the Hall of Fame Game's status as the first preseason game of the year makes it bigger than other preseason games -- it's not like next week's Browns-Lions exhibition is going to do huge numbers -- but those 7.9 million viewers are a huge statement about how big the NFL is in this country.Tiger Woods is a superstar whose popularity transcends golf, and Yankees-Red Sox is the national pastime's biggest rivalry, but on American television, football is king.

Golf is boring to watch on TV, Baseball is just boring and Nascar has become a soap opera whose biggest star hasn't won anything. I would watch a pro football team practice before I would watch any of this other stuff.

ESPN reporting Vick will be signed by an NFL team by Monday. Is there no justice in this world? Speculation is that when the season starts the uproar will be over and that fans will flock to see Vick, the criminal and don't forget...Donte Stallworth, both these men so worthy of our dollars. How do you feel about it?

If you dont wanna see them dont go to the games or watch them on the tube. I dont like Dog The Bounty Hunter so guess what, I dont watch his show. Same thing goes for these cricked a$$ priest, I dont like em so so dont watch their show. I dont tell other people not to watch em. Besides why should ones personal life affect their jobs, because contrary to popular belief, football is just a job. I would be pissed off if my employer came to me and said they were gonna suspend me for some bsh!t that happened over the weekend....pissed, wouldnt you?

There is justice in this world and Michael Vick served it. Try to spend two hours in prison and then tell me that his time wasnt enough. Im so sick of you people trying to keep him down your just a hermit that has nothing better to do than be jealous of him. He was possibly the most athletic football player in the history of the game. I hope whoever your team is if your even a real football fan gets run all over by him.
