Bobby Wade Says Brian Urlacher Thinks Jay Cutler Is a 'P***y'

Second-hand information is sometimes dangerous, unless it's taken with a grain of salt. And friend-of-a-friend is even worse. But right now, the word on the street from KFAN, a Vikings radio station, via ProFootballTalk.com, is that Bobby Wade, Minnesota wide receiver, spoke out earlier and said that Brian Urlacher thinks Jay Cutler is, um, not the toughest cookie in the jar.

Or, to put it more like Wade apparently did, Urlacher thinks Cutler is a 'p***y.' Now, provided this (meaning either Wade's statement or Urlacher's actual feeling; either one will suffice, really) is true, well, me-ow. Take it away, Florio.

Wade told our pal Paul Allen of KFAN within the hour that, during an offseason trip to Vegas with Bears middle linebacker Brian Urlacher, Urlacher expressed a not-so-flattering opinion of new Bears quarterback Jay Cutler.

Basically, Wade said that Urlacher said that Cutler is a "p***y."

Now, stepping away (not out of a lack of respect but for discussion purposes) from the obviously horrendous sexism present in these remarks, if Wade really said this, there's about to be some sort of catfight or storm of fecal proportions brewing in Chicago. Why?

Well, Brett Favre is gone and we need a new emotionally charged gunslinger in our lives, that's why. Oh, and because, in case you missed it, the whole stink about Cutler was his weak-sauce locker room presence -- if Urlacher, the Bears' unquestioned leader, feels that way about Cutler, you can bet he's not the only one.

Which will, unquestionably, result in an awesomely overrated and mostly lame, media-fueled drama war the likes we haven't seen since Mandy Patinkin played Dr. Jeffrey Geiger. (Yes, I went there.) But most importantly, we'll get to watch Bears fans pick sides between the established leader and veteran of the defense and the hot-shot young quarterback destined to save the franchise. Good times will ensue, I promise.

pretty lame thing to say, and if urlacher did say that pretty dumb sence it is a teammate not only that but cutler isnt a bad Qb and wade well i believe u need to think about urself sence how ur careers been going

Hey.....if you want to talk about pussy QBs, the biggest one out there is Rivers. Actually, not being a San Diego or Chicago fan, I think these guys are good for the game! It's about time QBs started mixing things up. The real pussy's are the one's that are too scared to run their mouth. This Denver Bronco fan is glad Jay Cutler got out of Denver and went to a team with a good coach and a good defense! The Broncos will suck for years to come as long as McNumbnuts is calling the shots......

I'm a little skeptical of how close Urlacher and Wade are. More likely, Cutler got a fruity drink in Vegas and Urlacher called him a pussy for it, laughs at Jay's expense, then Jay through a raw steak in front of a moving car. Urlacher pursued. Urlacher came out with only a slight headache but his steak was ruined. Good times ensued.

Sadly Urlacher is RAPIDLY approaching the end of his playing days, while Cutler has just started his. My prediction " the Bears will try to get a first round pick next year and they will take a middle linebacker with it".
