Tony Romo Has Allegedly Banned Jessica Simpson From His Dallas Home

Tony Romo Jessica Simpson Breakup Banned Dallas HouseYou thought you were tired of Tony Romo and Jessica Simpson, didn't you? After all, the awesomeness of seeing a celebrity dumped the night before her birthday seemed like a fitting end for one of the more annoying relationships in tabloid history (seriously; this is sports people -- it's serious and real and not about gossip, okay?).

But the Romessica party isn't over yet, folks. In fact, if you happen to frequent the website of one US Magazine -- which I found vis a vis the NY Daily News because I don't read that mess, right? -- then you might realize things are getting more interesting. Well, assuming "interesting" involves "Romo banning Jessica from his house."
A sign at the entrance reads: "RED ALERT!!! TONY ROMO HAS MADE SOME CHANGES TO HIS LIST OF PEOPLE ALLOWED IN....JESSICA IS NO LONGER ON THE LIST AND NOT APPROVED FOR ACCESS."
That's right. We're supposed to believe that Tony Romo, following a breakup with a woman, even one who is famous, made a giant sign to go on his presumably swanky house in Dallas that says "RED ALERT!!!" (note the three exclamation points) and tells everyone that Jessica Simpson -- who is actually way more famous than Romo -- that she's no longer allowed there.

Now, call me crazy, but this can't be real, right? I mean, there's no freaking way he actually did this. Surely not. Of course, Simpson supposedly spent $19,000 (again, via US Magazine) to ship 37 boxes overnight from Dallas to Los Angeles following the split, so maybe there's a lot of bad blood and whatnot.

Now, if (and I think it's a pretty big if) this story about the sign is true and Romo is the one responsible for posting it -- and forgive me for a minute as I delve into a little "real football" -- I'm a little concerned about his emotional maturity. Seriously. I mean that. Who the hell puts a giant sign letting everyone know that your ex-girlfriend is no longer allowed in your home ... out in front of your home.

Isn't that the point of breaking up? Wouldn't that be like putting a giant sign that said: "AMBER ALERT!!!1 TERRELL OWENS IS NO LONGER APPROVED FOR ACCESS IN THE DALLAS COWBOYS LOCKER ROOM." Yes. Yes it would, and it's pointless because we already know this. Everyone in the free world became aware of it the second you broke up, Tony.

So, let's run on the assumption that until People or US Magazine or, hell, even the Dallas Morning News, finds a picture of this sign that it's completely and utterly false and that Tony Romo isn't a sad little child hellbent on petty retribution.
