Update (July 8, 4:30 ET): Police confirmed during a press conference in Nashville that Kazemi shot and killed McNair before turning the gun on herself.Preliminary testing on the bodies of Steve McNair and Sahel Kazemi seem to corroborate the theory of a murder-suicide incident, state medical examiner Feng Li told The Tennesseean.
"The results were very consistent in supporting our decision," said Li, who performed the dual autopsies for the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. Li declined to confirm a murder-suicide, however, with results of ballistics tests on the gun and toxicology reports still pending.
On Sunday, approximately 24 hours after McNair and Kazemi were found dead, police declared McNair's death a homicide. One day later, Nashville police confirmed that the gun found on the scene had been purchased by Kazemi less than two days before the incident.
Earlier on Wednesday, the Associated Press reported that Mechelle McNair, Steve's wife, was unaware of her husband's alleged affair with the 20-year-old Kazemi.
Mike Mu, an associate of the McNairs, said that Mechelle "didn't know who this girl is," according to the AP.
The stunning case took another odd turn on Tuesday when the Nashville City Paper discovered online a rap mix by Kazemi's ex-boyfriend Keith Norfleet. That song, titled "Closed Casket," included lyrics about a cheating couple and the lines: "Don't ignore me, I'm not lying, I couldn't be more honest. If you ever do it again, you'll die, I promise." NewsChannel5 in Tennessee also reported that Kazemi had called 911 in January, claiming that Norfleet had assaulted her.
"He threw your phone at you, and he just," said 911 operator.Norfleet -- who has never been deemed a suspect in the case and cooperated fully with police questioning -- said through his family that the controversial song was not about McNair and Kazemi.
"In my face, yes," said Kazemi.
"Music is an outlet for him," Crystal Norfleet, Keith's sister, told The Tennessean. "He puts his emotions on pen and paper, and that's where they stay ... he never wrote that with Steve and Jenny [Kazemi's nickname] in mind."
Nashville police have scheduled a news conference for 2:45 CT Thursday to discuss the results of ballistics and gunshot residue testing.

looking at this situation as well Michael Jacksons death i find a lot of people who look at isolated parts of these peoples lives when deciding what kind of people they were -take a look at all the good things as well as the bad and you might see the good out weigh the bad. forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors
