Here's something for the person who has nothing: a Ryan Leaf autographed jersey. It would make for a fantastic gift if this was 1998 and you were a downtrodden Chargers fan hoping that Leaf would resurrect the franchise that won just four times in 1997. Eleven years later, not so much. In fact, it's something you wouldn't be surprised to get from your Secret Santa when there's a $15 spending limit. Except that Ryan Leaf's John Hancock is surprisingly expensive when written on high-quality Pro-Brite nylon with a lycratalic spandex dazzle collar: $449.99 (but only $4.99 for shipping!).
Holy hell. If the plan is to not sell one of these, then the pricing is spot on. And if the idea is to put the proceeds toward Leaf's defense fund, it might be worth mentioning that somewhere on the site for those interested in donating. Otherwise, this is just somebody at the NFL Shop having some fun.
It's sorta like Brian Jackson pretending to be Ben Roethlisberger when he signs your Steelers jersey. But worse.

I was born in Montana... Ryan Grief..eerrr Leaf was in Great Falls. Pain in the ass..... no social graces and a gigantic ego. As an adult though I have been in The Missoula Club when he has been there (in Missoula Montana), and he has been more than polite and pretty cool, all things considered.I live in San Diego now, and I will never be ok with that debacle....set the team behind by years... gee, who didn't the Chargers draft instead???? I think the Chargers should offer to buy back all his promo gear! They should take the $499 jersey, put it on a Mr. Magoo doll and leave it in the front office to remind them what idiots they were. GO CHARGERS whip the Raiders azzz!!!!!!!!

He did nothing for the Chargers except stealing 24 million dolars. The man is a train wreck professionally and personally. I hope he convicted on all of the drug charges and spends a very long time in prison. Maybe he can autograph his neon orange prison jerseys.
