"Retired" quarterback Brett Favre can't seem to escape the headlines. With all the talk about his second unretirement in as many years, it makes sense that players on potential Favre opponents would start weighing in.Bears linebacker Lance Briggs is the latest to chip in his two cents. He's fully supportive of Favre's rumored comeback to Minnesota.
Of course, Briggs doesn't hope for a Favre comeback so he can watch Favre wing touchdown passes.

"He's going to hurt you, but he's also going to throw you a few," said Briggs. "He threw me the first interception I ever returned for a touchdown in the NFL."Briggs does think the Vikings are the team to beat in the NFC North. That said, he seems willing to help Favre add to his all-time interception record.
... "We know he's going to throw us a few," said Briggs. "He's thrown me a few, but I've also dropped several that I should have caught. We'd love to see Favre go there to play. We'd welcome it."
Then again, if you had Adrian Peterson in your backfield, why would you let the quarterback throw any interceptions? No matter what shape Favre's arm is in, there's no doubt he can still execute a handoff.

Be careful what you ask for Briggs. The jets were 8-3 until brett got hurt. You also better hope everything goes just right for your cry baby QB but without any good wideouts.I see trouble brewing.

A few!?? Try QUITE a few, that is when he's not running and stumbling around and dropping the ball when no one is within ten yards of him.

people just dont learn. this guy WAS a great quarterback. he IS a choke artist who should've retired after his awful 2006 season. all the excuses everyone makes for him, face it he's done.

Like every other bear player and fans Briggs is punk with a big mouth. A lot of bragging, but in the end early January vacations and no hope for the next year. Be careful now Briggs if the Packers don't get you the Viking will.
