Titans quarterback Vince Young is dedicating himself in the offseason to regaining his starter role. Or not. According to a TMZ.com video and article, Young decided to make it rain at a Nelly concert in Houston last week by pulling out a roll of money and showering a crowd with dollar bills. The longer, cuss-worded version of the evening is on the YouTubes and includes an interview with Vince Young. He gives his support to Houston rapper Willie D of the Geto Boys, who was recently arrested for alleged iPhone scam.
TMZ is not amused, editorializing, "The last time a member of the Tennessee Titans decided to "make it rain" while hanging out at an event with Nelly -- people got shot and lives were ruined." Yeah, probably not what you want from your
I'm guessing that Titans would prefer Young this offseason keeping a lower profile, but I suppose they should feel thankful that this isn't a shirtless picture of him chugging tequila straight out of the bottle. (Picture above from last year).
Young made it really clear last year that the attention given to a NFL quarterback isn't going to stop him from going out and having fun. Which, I guess is part of the reason why Kerry Collins is the starting quarterback of the Tennessee Titans despite only having 2,676 passing yards (167.2 yards per game average), and a 58.3 completion percentage last year.

This is the ignorance in the media that I hate. Stephanie thinks Vince Young shouldn't party right? Football is not life and if you can't take a break then forget it all. We all drink and we all don't work 24 hours a day so most of us party on weekends.So if Stephanie writes articles day and night then she can talk. We all know don't so give Vince a break and find a better story.

So many people would kill for the chance to do what they get too do. People like VY are so dumb for what they do he's lucky someone didn't teach him a lesson for making it "rain" on their turf. I think he is trying to get out of playing in the NFL, period. he does not have what it takes to be a starter. And thats a shame, as he had a great career if he tried. So TN should let him go.

When everything is going well it is the QB that gets the glory. When the QB doesn't perform up to expectations why is he, or anyone, surprised that they catch all the flack? It is not racist when a person criticizes a QB for shortcomings if that QB just happens to be black. Remember when Kurt Warner was a "has been"? Greiese , Manning "the lesser", Romo and many others have received the same treatment in the press.
I don't think Vince Young is a total failure... he hasn't taken enough snaps for that yet. But he isn't helping his cause with the off field behaviour. How much quicker would Couch have exited Cleveland if he had carried on the same way?
