Jeremy Shockey Reportedly Taken to Hospital From Vegas Resort

Update: Shockey was treated for dehydration and was released from the hospital "in good shape," according to an ESPN report.

According to a TMZ report, Jeremy Shockey was taken from the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas to a local hospital after being found unconscious at Rehab, the Hard Rock's pool party on Sundays.

As TMZ noted, this is a "developing story" and it's entirely possible that the situation isn't as bad as it initially seems. TMZ also reported that "paramedics tried to cover him up so onlookers -- including a TV camera crew -- couldn't ID him."

That also means that -- whether for good or bad -- there will probably end up being YouTube footage of Shockey near the Vegas pool. The upside to this story is that the incident occurred at 2 PM, which is a less awkward time than its AM counterpart.

Additionally, the fact that the alleged incident occurred in Las Vegas magnifies the scrutiny of Shockey being "unconscious." If this same sort of thing happens at a community pool near Shockey's home, it would be much less of a story.

Not really if you've ever been to rehab, its the biggest party of the weekend, in the day on sundays !! Hope fully he is ok
