In what is rapidly becoming the most delightfully deluded Twitter feed, Drew Rosenhaus recently let the world know, via almighty tweeting, that two teams are "very serious" about signing legally-challenged wideout Plaxico Burress. The New York Jets are believed to be one of the teams interested, should Burress avoid jail time. As far as the other? It's probably the New York Smokescreens. Rosenhaus obviously has very strong reasons -- many green ones -- to try and drive up the price for every single one of his clients. Check out the Twitter feed. It's the most biased thing you'll ever see. All Rosenhaus' clients are somehow, coincidentally, in the best shape of their lives and ready to take the league by storm.
Not that there's anything wrong with that. His job is to make his clients look better than they are, in an attempt to garner them a huge windfall when it comes time to sign the dotted line. We just need to realize as fans that you can't believe everything he says.
Lost in the shuffle here is the pure hilarity of the tweet in question's first line. "Ran wind sprints with Plaxico Burress." According to Rosenhaus' MySpace page -- I seriously can't believe I just looked that up -- he's 5-foot-10. Plaxico stands at 6-foot-5. Just picturing the seven-inch difference in addition to the surely massive difference in speed during a session of "wind sprints" is high comedy. Seriously, what agent runs sprints with his clients?

As insignificant as it might seem, that's not even the right MySpace page. You can find Rosenhaus at http://www.myspace.com/drewrosenhaus305 . A simple fact check might trick some people into thinking you're not a complete hack.

His most recent MySpace is actually http://www.myspace.com/drewjrosenhaus , so apparently mistakes happen to everyone. Then again, I'm not using it as a source.

You're kidding, right? I didn't use it as a source, I just wanted to see what his height was. Did you seriously go to the effort to post those in an effort to discredit me based upon a light-hearted discussion on his height difference to Plaxico Burress? I googled his name, clicked on the link, saw 5'10" and moved on.
