Cornerback Pacman Jones still wants to play in the NFL.Whether or not somebody wants him remains to be seen. The Jets have expressed interest, according to someone close to Jones, but are waiting things out.
Jones' agent Worrick Robinson said he hopes to get his client signed by training camp and wouldn't discuss which teams are interested.
When asked if the Cowboys, Jones' last employer, have requested a return engagement, Robinson said no.

To know him is to hate him----the jets will learn,,although if you are a thug, New York is a likely place for you.........hell they would sign Jack the ripper if they thought he could win a game for them.....what the jets dont realize is good old pac-man gives up more big plays than he makes,,,,and he will be in jail shortly after arriving in the big apple,,,,,,,a thug is a thug is a thug...

If Adolf Hitler could run a 4.5 40, and throw an 80 yard tight spiral pass, he would be the starting QB for the Jets on opening day.
Bet the farm on it. The NFL has no shame!

NFL teams will keep on hiring Pacman. Pacman will keep on getting in trouble. Both are inevitable. It's all about winning and money.

hahahah i cant even begin to express what a monumental mistake this would be for the jets, a team trying to turn it around. look at teams like my panthers or the colts that sign character and see what they've been doing. pacman didnt even do well on the field last year. he's lost a step from being taken advantage of in jail lol....show some class jets

Dammm now this gives NYPD one more reason for target practice. Another gang-banger in a pro uniform, the Jets were doing well by drafting my CA. native Sanchez but they just took not 1,2 nor 3 steps back but 10 paces back. now i'm from Cali. and i frequent NY ofter its a great city 2nd to Cali but for the sake of the franchise pleeeeeze don't do it. save your money a get a player with some class not a gun! besides he is over the hill anyway.

Man if he was a a member of a gang, neighborhood set, people wouldn't have given him the nickname "pacman". Pacman is the nickname gangs used for a rookie cop in the C.R.A.S.H. gang prevention unit in the 80's movie "Colors" who always threw gang members in jail for nothing, hance the name "Pacman" because he was packing the jails. I do think Adam Jones made alot of dumb decisions in his life, but i do think their is a line between being a big troublemaker, and being a menace to society and belonging to a gang. He doesn't do throw up gang signs on the field, so stop reffering to him as a thug/ gangbanger, because he isn't. On the other hand as a player, he has all the physical tools to be a great cover corner, being fast enough to cover the teams best corner, and the strength to jam them at the LOS, but in man coverage he bites on fake moves, and in zone coverage he bites on play fakes and qb's pump faking the ball because he pays too much attention to the QB and not on whos in his zone.

Oh, he's not a thug, huh?? What do you call throwing money in the air at a strip-joint, causing a melee in which one of his posse of thugs shoots and cripples a guy?? Just misunderstood, right?

New York Newsday stated that this is NOT true and that the New York Jets have NO interest in Adam Jones. Hope they are right.
