Percy Harvin Released From Hospital, Does Not Have Swine Flu

Minnesota Vikings rookie wide receiver Percy Harvin has been released from an Atlanta hospital where he was treated for dehydration, and doctors say he does not have the H1N1 swine flu virus.

Harvin began throwing up during a layover Thursday at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and was hospitalized. He was tested for the H1N1 virus as a precaution, but the test came back negative.

Vikings coach Brad Childress said Harvin was simply exhausted and dehydrated from too much travel.

Childress said:
"It's just unfortunate circumstances," Childress said. "That's the only way you can put it. ...

"I just think the grind had caught up with him," Childress said.
The Vikings said Harvin has been flying back and forth between his family home in Florida and the Vikings' facilities in Minnesota, and that the travel simply wore him down. Fortunately for Harvin, he won't be traveling so much in the future: His mom and stepdad are moving to Minnesota to be close to him.
