New NFLPA executive president DeMaurice Smith, who was in Irving, Texas last week, called Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and spoke with Dallas player reps Greg Ellis, DeMarcus Ware and Jason Witten regarding the collapse of the team's practice facility on Saturday.Smith also talked with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell and Jeff Pash, the league's executive vice president and chief counsel, about the incident that sent 12 people to the hospital and left Cowboys assistant scout Rich Behm paralyzed.
Smith is trying to make sure everyone involved is OK, and offer some support from a union standpoint. Smith is expected to leave Washington and head to Buffalo on Tuesday. He doesn't have plans to return to Irving, according to union spokesperson Carl Francis.

If I was hurt, I would sue Jerry Jones. He has always been cheap when it comes to paying his players, drafting the best guys, and keeping up the practice facities. And the only reason the Cowboys are moving into a new stadium is because the average taxpayer is dumb enough to pay for it, while he reaps the profits.

For your information greg Jerry Jones is paying for most of the stadium to the tune of 725 million dollars and the city of Arlington is paying 425million s get your facts straight. Havent you been looking or keeping up he pays his players when they are worth it.

LOL, ricky!
I have noticed how people genuinely believe they have a clue when writing about Jerry Jones. As you know, lots of them called him "Jimmy Jones" when Jimmy Johnson was Head Coach.
Time marches on, but fools never seem to mature.

How dumb can a franchise be?!?! They don't even have the sense to take care of the player that make them money. All that money for a new stadium and something cheap to protect them. I wonder how long the new stadium will hold up under all those cheap payed illegal aliens that built it. What a joke.
