Scouting Report: Huge target for quarterbacks, especially on underneath routes. Is a great blocker. Very good athleticism, allowing him to release quickly. Could be a perfect red-zone target, despite lack of scoring production at Oklahoma State. Speed is mediocre, won't get downfield much. Has an arrest in his background. Old for a rookie.
2009 Outlook: He's not going to be an Antonio Gates or Tony Gonzalez, so anyone hoping for something like that out of Pettigrew will be greatly disappointed. He will help greatly with a team's blocking scheme, and be a nice short-yardage weapon to round out an offense.
