Scouting Report: Dominant force against the run, comparisons to Shaun Rogers are valid, except Raji's conditioning may be better. Spectacular burst off the line. Can anchor a 3-4 defense or slide over and be effective in a 4-3. Had academic and disciplinary issues at Boston College, missing games due to both. Average pass rusher. Won't chase anyone down.
2009 Outlook: Raji looks like a perfect fit for a team that runs a 3-4 alignment, as he's physically gifted enough to step in and stuff the run right away. A team in a 4-3 alignment, or a team hoping to rely on him for high sack numbers may need to work through some frustrating moments.
