More than five month later, Josh Alper's words still hold true: "Two things are for certain about Broncos quarterback Jay Cutler: He says exactly what's on his mind and doesn't care for Philip Rivers of the Chargers." Josh was referring to a 2007 dust-up between the two quarterbacks, and Cutler's subsequent appearance on "The Best Damn Sports Show" where he expounded on his views of Rivers as "kind of an ass."The last four weeks must've been a schadenfreude-tastic time for Rivers, what with the very public Broncos-Cutler cat fight. But as it turns out, the Chargers quarterback isn't alone in his dislike for his Denver counterpart. Jets safety Kerry Rhodes also makes it clear that he's not a Cutler fan. Which might be awkward should New York work a deal for him.
According to the popular safety, Cutler has a big head to match that big right arm. If the Jets end up trading for Cutler - they already have placed an inquiring call to the Broncos - it could cause an uneasy tension in the locker room. "Me and Jay just don't get along too well right now," Rhodes said Thursday ...Like Rivers, Rhodes' contempt for Cutler stems from an on-field incident. According to the New York Daily News' Rich Cimini, "In the midst of a 357-yard, two-touchdown shredding of the Jets [last November], Cutler turned off Rhodes and several of his teammates by chirping in their faces. One player described it as childish behavior."
Silver lining for Cutler should he end up with the Jets: Rhodes says he's "not going to fight him," although I suspect Kellen Clemens would be fine with that. Rhodes also said he wouldn't throw Cutler a "Welcome to Gang Green!" party, either, but he does concede that "He can make a lot of things happen on the field ... I don't know if that means I want him, but he's a good player."
So, basically, Cutler has all the physical skills of Brett Favre without the winning personality. Peter King, like Rhodes, does not approve.

Look whos talking, a dumbass safety trying to put his opinion out about a player who is 10x better than him. If Jay leads them to the playoffs IF he goes to the jets, man is this dumbass safety gonna look even stupider.

Cmon you must be kidding me 'loserkid', this is the same guy who compared himself to John Elway, when most, emotionally stable, young Quarterback would know how to be modest and avoid that comparison, he runs into it. Then after the season, in which they blow a 2 game lead with 2 games to go, they had to make changes they should have made a long time ago. They fire the coach and GM. He wants out, they look to oblige HER. SHE gets B.ICTHY. Now HER Pimp, excuse me agent, Bus "CUEBALL" Cook wants to pad his pockets, when Mrs. Cutler record as a starter is a meesley 17-20!!! Probowl or not you could have him. Everyone screams about HER big arm. Plus didnt they say this CHICK is an alcoholic dumbazz anyway. Maybe if SHE got 'hooked on phonics' the MRS She could READ defenses & wouldnt throw into double coverage as much, whew! thanx

Wow... that must be one long list, considering it features everybody on Earth except for Cutler.
Cutler is like Elway - a talented QB with a history of choking down the stretch. The difference with Elway is that he never got discouraged or whiny and eventually focused and won two back-to-back Super Bowls. Cutler is a diva who will probably never deliver a ring to any team, let alone the pitiful Donkos.

I think Cutler is similar to guys like Rodney Harrison or Phillip Rivers. He may be disliked by many of his opponents, but his teammates all love him.

Lol at Rhodes. Look, big head or not, his arm is one of the best. He beat Rhodes this season pretty badly on that swampy day... and Denver was on their what, 6th running back?
Rhodes is a defense player, Cutler's on offense. The two won't even need to talk to each other besides maybe in team meetings. I don't care if Cutler comes up after every game and cries his eyes out about who hit him too hard, we need his arm. Poor attitude or not, we need him.

BlaqBoi37... Elway won plenty before Terrel showed up, he just didn't win a super bowl.
