After Birth of Twins, Travis Henry Now Has 11 Kids by 10 Women

After I wrote this morning about former NFL running back Travis Henry, saying he has nine children by nine different women, I was informed that I was mistaken.

In fact, ESPN is reporting that Henry recently had two more children:

Henry recently fathered twin girls, but having children is nothing new to him. Henry has 11 children with 10 different women. While his discretion to procreate is questionable, Henry's financial commitment is well defined. His child support payments stand at $17,000 a month, and he is currently in jail because he owes back child support.

That report comes from an upcoming segment on ESPN's Outside the Lines, in which Henry is asked about President Obama saying, "The foundations of our family have suffered because of [absentee fathers]. You and I know this is is true everywhere, but nowhere is it more true than in the African-American community."

Said Henry of Obama's comments, "He made a really good point. Of course, my kids are going to fall short, too, right? It's a cycle. If there's any way that I can try to make it happen without being in the house with them, I'm going to try."

In addition to being jailed for failure to pay child support, Henry is currently facing federal cocaine trafficking charges.

A pox on this devil, but I suspect money always plays a part where weak character women are involved too.

It's not like this is an anomaly. If this guy wasn't well known, you wouldn't even hear about it, but this happens all the time in the ghetto. The modern black community has become totally corrupted and immoral. It's time for us to put our foot down and put a stop to things like this that only serve to make us all look like inept buffoons.

This is the mentality that the black community is stuck with and certainly a major reason for ghettoes and limited black progress. In the meantime progressive blacks have to deal with this stereo type as best they can and along with the rest of us have to pay for this incredible looser mind set.

Yep. Let's expand the welfare state so that we can subsidize these kids. And since they will be growing up in fatherless homes, they will be vulnerable to just about every social pathology out there - and well past when they turn 18 to. But hey, the "enlightened" that walk among us would argue for us to keep our morality to ourselves. What they don't tell you is that all of us will have to pay for the consequences of these irresponsible people. Who says having sex doesn't have consequences - for all of us. GO ahead and call me a prude just stay out of my wallet when you need to pay for your behavior.

And I'm sure when this guy is done serving his time and fines some dumb team will probably scoop him up.
Like the Raiders or my beloved Cowboys.
I'd love to see NFL teams start to require some sense of morality in the personal lives of their athletes.
Whether the players like it or not, they are role models for up-and-coming players and the fans.
Clean it up guys!
