Odds on Terrell Owens' Next Team: Redskins, Raiders Early Favorites

Our friends at BoDog are always working hard to accommodate our favorite addictions gambling curiosities. So, naturally, when the news dropped that the Dallas Cowboys had released Terrell Owens, I checked the site a few times to see if any odds had emerged on where T.O. would end up.

They didn't show up last night, but they're certainly there today. And, frankly, they're not particularly shocking. At least, not if you know anything about Dan Snyder and Al Davis.
Oakland Raiders 7/2
Washington Redskins 4/1
New York Jets 13/2
Tampa Bay Bucs 11/2
New England Pats 13/2
Tennessee Titans 13/2
Miami Dolphins 8/1
Philadelphia Eagles 50/1
Now, bear in the mind "field" is also 9/4, so BoDog's left plenty of room for error here in the event that Owens signs with someone not listed.

The list really does three things. One, it shows who's ridiculous enough to ink Owens, regardless of what the aftershock would be (Synder, Davis). Secondly, it's a joke. And a funny one -- Owens going back to Philly? I think not. Finally, it's a good indication of who exactly might consider themselves desperate enough to utilize Owens in order to increases their chances of winning next year.

I know we talk all the time about how awful Owens is and what a locker room cancer he becomes whenever he stays somewhere too long, but why wouldn't someone ink him to a one year contract with incentives? Or, alternately, just put him in New England next to Randy Moss so we won't have to hear any media coverage about the Pats next season.
