Samari Rolle: Ravens Don't Want Me, So They Should Cut Me

Ravens cornerback Samari Rolle says that after four years in Baltimore, he's ready to move on. And he says that while the Ravens are ready to move on, too.

But Rolle also says that even though parting ways would be the best thing for everyone, the Ravens won't let him go.

Rolle tells Mike Preston of the Baltimore Sun:
"Honestly, I don't want to play in Baltimore anymore because I feel I'm not wanted. During the past two years the Ravens have wanted to replace me, and the only man in the building that supported me was Rex [Ryan, the former defensive coordinator].

"I have nothing against the organization, nothing against ownership. I just feel it's time for me to move on. Never have I challenged this organization, but I think it's in both our best interest."
Rolle will turn 33 in August, and it became clear when the Ravens signed Dominique Foxworth that Rolle wasn't in their long-term plans. His release is bound to happen sooner or later.
