Pacman Jones Joins 'Pros vs. Joes'

Pacman Jones, formerly of the Dallas Cowboys, inked a new deal after the free agent period opened. The only downside of said new deal is that it's with Spike TV, and it will involve Pacman "playing" football on Pros vs. Joes.

Yes, that's correct. Pacman has fallen so far that he's doing reality television with Petros Papadakis, competing against mere mortals for the sake of not being publicly embarrassed. But he seems kind of excited.
"It's a good show," Jones said. "Hopefully I can bring a little excitement to it."

[...]"I'm going to make sure I do my job," Jones said. "I don't want no balls caught on me."
Of course, it's not all ex-stars who watched their careers decline embarrassingly that appear on this show. Also included in the basketball portion are: Antoine Walker, Steve Francis, Shawn Kemp and ... Oh.

In fairness, the NFL group includes Priest Holmes, Rich Gannon and Tim Brown, so at least the group had upside in 2001! Also, at least most of them didn't just fade into mediocrity. Unless you count "appearing on Pros v. Joes" as "fading into mediocrity." Which wouldn't be that far-fetched.
