Jets | Patriots, terms unknown |
| Khalif Barnes, OT | Jaguars | Raiders, 1 yr |

||
| Eric Barton, LB | Jets | Browns, terms unknown |
| Hank Baskett, WR | Eagles | Eagles, 1 yr |
| Cedric Benson, RB | Bengals | Bengals, 2 yrs/$7 mil |

||
| Rocky Bernard, DT | Seahawks | Giants, 4 yrs/$16 mil |

||
| Bertrand Berry, DE | Cardinals | Cardinals, 1 yr |
| Matt Birk, C | Vikings | Ravens, 3 yrs/$12 mil |
| Our Take: Baltimore lost Jason Brown, but at more than $3 million-per-year cheaper, Birk will be welcome with open arms. -- Chris Burke |
||
| Dre Bly, CB | Broncos | 49ers, 1 yr |
| Michael Boley, LB |
Falcons | Giants, 5 yrs/$25 mil |

Ravens | Rams, 2 yrs |
| Marty Booker, WR | Bears | ----- |

||
| Chris Canty, DE |
Cowboys | Giants, 6 yrs/$42 mil |
| Our Take: Canty's a talented player, but after signing DT Bernard, have the Giants ignored weaknesses elsewhere? -- Tom Mantzouranis |

||
| Laveranues Coles, WR |
Jets | Bengals, 4 yrs/$28 mil |
| Our Take: The Bengals did a nice job replacing Houshmandzadeh here, and Coles will pair nicely with Ocho Cinco. -- Chris Burke |
||
| Kerry Collins, QB |

Saints |
Saints, 5 yrs |

||
| Mark Tauscher, OT |
Packers |
----- |
| Fred Taylor, RB |

Adam Schefter reporting Redskins held on to DeAngelo Hall. He played pretty well when he came to us, so I'm glad about this. New England will probably pick up Bodden now.

Dallas Please for once use some good sense here and sign brian leftwich to a back up role.Tony can be injury prone and we need a guy who can step in and actually count on. ps Look at New England,they understand the importance of having a good backup guy. Also please address our safety issue.

Steelers need to lock up Marvel Smith, Nate Washington, and bring Leftwich back for another year, and then focus on bringing in someone like Matt Birk from the Vikings to solidify and improve the offensive line. Let Simmons go. Keep Smith if they can get him on the cheap, if not he has to go. Take a chance on McAlister from the Ravens at CB if he doesnt break the bank, and then draft offensive and defensive line backups as well as secondary. They would be set up for next year. Man, Washington's D is going to be tough.

Leftwich would far surpass Brad Johnson but then so would my grandmother. I am not chomping at the bits for the Cowboys to sign Byron because he has not really lived up to his potential. Suffice to say, he would be a backup and not a starter but still if Romo went down we need someone who will be like the Pats backups past & present. Maybe Leftwich would fit the bill but I am not sure.

Ray Lewis would be a dream addition for the Cowboys for a couple of years anyway but I don't see the Ravens letting him walk especially since they lost Scott to the Jets. I would definitely dance in the street if Jerry Jones did sign him.

How in the hell do the Redskins stay under the cap????? There is something wrong here. Haynesworth alone should have blown them far over!! The whole freaking team is getting paid crazy money!! I keep hearing "they have deep pockets", but they can't be deeper than 127mil!!!

The country's economy is in a freefall, Danny Snyder is laying off employees at Redskin Park because he can't afford their $30,000 a year salaries, and then spends $150,000,000 for two players. Am I the only one morally outraged?

How come the NFL reported on wednesday that the Redskins had only a 6 million dollar salary cap to work with this season. Then on Friday, they are reporting about them signing Hainesworth for over 100 million. What happened to their salary cap? Could it be that the NFL is as corrupt as the NCAA or the BCS?
