Pats Enter '09 as Super Bowl Favorites

With, presumably, a healthy Tom Brady at quarterback, the New England Patriots will head into the 2009 NFL season as the favorites to win the Super Bowl.

Bodog has released its odds for Super Bowl XLIV, and the Patriots check in as the favorites. Here are Bodog's top 10:
Odds to win the 2010 Super Bowl XLIV
New England Patriots 8/1
Dallas Cowboys 9/1
New York Giants 10/1
Pittsburgh Steelers 10/1
Indianapolis Colts 12/1
San Diego Chargers 12/1
Baltimore Ravens 14/1
Tennessee Titans 16/1
Carolina Panthers 18/1
Philadelphia Eagles 18/1
I'm a little surprised to see that the Cowboys are the favorites to represent the NFC, and I'm very surprised that the Cardinals, at 30-1, aren't even close. But overall, that looks about right.

And the bottom of the list looks about right, too. The teams with the longest odds are the Lions and Chiefs, both at 100-1.
