President Barack Obama made a few headlines in the weeks leading up to the Super Bowl when he openly admitted that he was going to be cheering for the Pittsburgh Steelers in Super Bowl XLIII. Some people made a big deal about it, but, frankly, he should be allowed to cheer for whoever he wants, just as John McCain should have been able to cheer for the Cardinals had he been the man in the White House. Just because you're the President doesn't mean you're not allowed to be a fan.
But, don't worry, Cardinals fans, the President hasn't forgotten about your team, either.
According to the Associated Press, as Arizona head coach Ken Whisenhunt was returning to his home on Monday afternoon, he received a call on his cell phone from the President offering some congratulations for, presumably, putting the Arizona Cardinals back on the NFL map.
He said Obama was "congratulating our team on the success we had had and was very impressed with the way our men had played. And that was quite special." "I was actually just walking in my front door," Whisenhunt said Tuesday. "He called my cell phone. I don't know how they got my number ... I was humbled and I was stunned."He's the President of the United States, Ken, that's how he got the number. He knows people in all the right places.

Did we just define the difference between champions and losers by 4 pts? Let's not forget how great a game that we got to see Sunday night.

I challenge you to find the word "loser" anywhere in the post.
Still, whether it's by four points or 40 points only one team is a champion when the season is over.
But, you're correct, it was a fantastic football game.

Condolences are sent to the losers, and congratulations are sent to the winners(or in this case champions)

In this game, the difference betweeen these two teams was merely semantics! They both played in the Super Dimension!
