ESPN made big news out of Sal Paolantonio's report earlier in the week that Brian Westbrook reinjured his knee in the Eagles win over the Giants at the Meadowlands, but as our own Ryan Wilson surmised, the tweak was just another day at the office for No. 36. According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, the ESPN report later changed the word "reinjured" to "tweaked."Westbrook participated in practice on Friday at the NovaCare complex in South Philadelphia before flying to Arizona later in the day and said the knee "feels good," even better than it did last week. This could be bad news for Cardinals fans.
As far as the ESPN report, Westbrook seems to think it was blown out of proportion.
"My knee's fine," he said. "I think it hasn't been said, but a lot of times throughout games when you have injuries, you're going to tweak your injury no matter what that injury is. This wasn't the only game that I tweaked my knee, but it happens throughout football games."
As John Madden would say, "that's football."
A healthy Brian Westbrook is one of the most dangerous players in the NFL. He's a threat to break a big play every time he touches the ball, but he also creates space for other guys to make plays by forcing opposing defenses to keep their eyes on him at all times.
Donovan McNabb runs the show in Philly but Brian Westbrook makes the magic happen. With the knee feeling good, we could see some on Sunday.

You go Westbrook, they want everyone to think your bad, just show up and not play and you will scare the remaining teams (Not the Giants or cowgirls)and open up other players.
GO EAGLES AND DON"T FORGET THAT PHILLY IS BASEBALLS WORLD CHAMP and will be FOOTBALLS SUPERBOWL WINNERS

philly is a complete 9 win embarrassment of a team. they cheat so much it is ridiculous. philly is also the worst sports city in america. the onlky reason they won in baseball is because they cheated so bad. try a real sports town like boston where very team is the best in the league

I'm not an Eagles fan. Although they do command my respect. The one thing I find hard to watch is when they are in a third and 1 or forth and 1 situation and continually fail to convert. Look at your bench....Chris Gocong, starting linebacker. 6'2" 263lbs, a running QB in his earlier playing days. My bet is he could get those 1 yard plays you so dearly need........instead of Westbrook stopped again for no gain!!!

if westbrook is healthy it could be a long day 4 cards they cant stop the run like ny can and 70+ on the ground from westbrook will make mcnabb that much more effective.face it no one is better at spreading the ball around this year than mc nabb if the cards must respect westbrook on the ground or out of the backfield the secendary will be spread too thin.cards have done well but just not enough d especially w healthy westbrook

i have never seen a team get so many cheating calls from the refs in my life like they do for the cheating eagles. philly is the biggest bunch of cheaters i have ever seen and they cheated to win in baseball as well. Boston is clearly the greatest sports city in the universe and always has been and always will be
