It is dumping snow in Pittsburgh for the AFC Divisional Playoff game between the San Diego Chargers and Pittsburgh Steelers. So, no, not exactly your typical San Diego weather.
And the Chargers are going to, according to the CBS broadcast folks, have to deal with the weather sans LaDanian Tomlinson, who is not in the game today. Tomlinson, as you know, has a detached tendon in his groin and, as a result, is sitting out the game in Pittsburgh.
That leaves everything up to Darren Sproles in terms of San Diego's running game, and as I've mentioned before, that might be a little too much to ask of the former Wildcat product when facing the Steeler defense.

Sproles is a beast. I'm confident he can perform.

You know, the Steelers' receivers remind me of sports bras -- great at run support, but doesn't give you any separation.

I never thought that I would be saying this but it seems to me that LT is a "Big Whimp" because he does not have a good blocker so all of sudden he is using injuries as an excuse to sit out these important games. He is a fantastic runner but I think he is letting his team and his fans down.
Even if San Diego can't be a winner they do not need a "Whimp" holding them back from being a winner when they have the opportunity.
I have been a fan and a Charger backer since 1968 and it breaks my heart to turn a game off the TV in the 3rd quarter.
Sorry Chargers for the ones that are trying !!!
