It's been rough going for both Donovan McNabb and Eli Manning on a windy day at the Meadowlands, as the New York Giants trail the Philadelphia Eagles 10-8 at halftime of a defensive divisional playoff game.
Manning has completed eight of 16 passes for just 87 yards, and he threw an interception that Asante Samuel returned to the 2-yard line, setting up the game's only touchdown.
McNabb was even worse for most of the first half. He threw an interception and was also called for intentional grounding in the end zone, giving the Giants two points on a safety. But on the final drive before halftime, McNabb calmly drove the Eagles down the field to set up a short field goal on the half's final play. McNabb is 9-of-18 for 68 yards, with 50 of those coming on the final drive.
If the McNabb we saw at the end of the half is the one we'll see for all of the second, the Eagles are poised to pull the upset. But if the first half is any indication, this game is going to be determined by the defense, and not by Manning or McNabb.

Let's talk about how the Giants started 11-1 and how they were the #1 seed. Now let's talk about how they bombed out in December, including a thrashing in Dallas, and how they got a 1st round bye and choked in the playoffs at home to the last seed. Let's talk about how Eli looked like a scared puppy and threw air balls all day. And how they were undisciplined and couldn't do anything right all day. Let's talk about how they have stupid players that get in trouble with guns and their coaches suck and should be fired. What about all that?? Sound familiar?? How's the humble pie taste now mighty G-Men?? BBWWWHHHHHAAAAAA!!!!!!
