Ahmad Bradshaw, Brandon Jacobs and Derrick Ward are in a unique situation. They are the oh-so-rare triple headed, running back combo that actually succeeds all the way around. Brandon Jacobs is the "feature" back, but he wouldn't have as much success were it not for his teammates in the trio known as "Earth, Wind and Fire".That's what makes Bradshaw's comments to Michael Strahan in a Fox interview so interesting. Via PFT, Strahan asked Bradshaw whether he wanted Ward and Jacobs -- both of whom will be free agents -- come back to New York next year. His answer was pretty straightforward.
No.Apparently, Bradshaw was laughing a little bit when he answered Strahan, but there's a significant amount of truth to what he's saying whether he wants to admit it or not. As long as Jacobs and Ward are with the New York Giants, it's going to be increasingly difficult for Bradshaw to increase his net worth as a football player.
So, at least in the interest of self-improvement, it's not a terribly horrible thing for Bradshaw to wish for; it just seems like there's a better time than, oh, right before a playoff game to answer that truthfully.

Its time to give David Carr a chance at the helm. Eli manning
has become a joke. teams @ the NFL have no respect for him.
AT times he appears confused and timmed. Eli must understand that the three headed monster cannot hide his deficiencies for ever. He is a veteran QB and the fans deserve better, than the rookie mistakes he brings sunday after sunday. the manning name might be good for bussiness, But the average fan can care less.

Let me say the Giants had a fine season at 12-5. It could have
been better with another SuperBowl run. The Giants just didn't have it in the last game. They stayed away from the things that worked well all year. The Eagles won but the Giants gave them the game.

the thing about those three backs is that they all need eachother to succeed
Jacobs is a bruiser and takes a beating (a little bit less than he gives) everytime he toucjes the ball BUT he is not that durable, he can't stay healthy for a whole year and I seriously think that if he was asked to be a true FEATURE back (a workhorse in the LJ/LdT/S.Jackson mold) he would either play an average of 10 games per year or last about 5 or 6 years in the league
Ward in reality i don't think is just good enough to be a featured back but he is great at what he does, change of pace, spell jacobs, reciever out of the backfeild. he also has some injury concerns but look once ward entered the picture, this year, jacobs and ward combined to miss very few games
Bradshaw was a seventh round pick. he had some severe character problems out of college. he was lucky to make a team. becuase of his lightning quicknesshe is an ideal change of pace from ward and jacobs. he comes in in the fourth quarter with a fresh pair of rested legs versus a tired defense that has been batered and bruised by jacobs. Bradshaw comes in in almost immediately can break off a huge run.

Gilbride and Spagnoulo knew what was coming, I didn't see the innovation that was necessary to counter a well known rival. You had to know that the Giants were going to concentrate on Westbrook,.Everyone else knew the Eagles were going to go West Coast Offense. Duh.
I really would have liked to see some Sinorice Moss in a couple of creative plays. Why couldn't they use him like Desean Jackson?
Well, Coughlin manned up and took the blame, its his team and they stunk. I gotta give him credit for that. So, when's the next draft? Look for a deep route threat please.

The Giants should have used Bradshaw more.....He brings a different look to the offense.....I blame the coaching staff...for the loss against the Eagles..... Eli is a martinet.....He needs to work on his mobility and leg and arm strength. Thats the job of the coaching staff.
