Cris Carter recently said that if he was in charge of the Dallas Cowboys, he would take a bullet and put it in Terrell Owens. This wasn't smart, mainly because it implies that he would use violence as a solution for anything. Naturally, T.O. -- who has nothing to do right now but stir up trouble -- responded. But not in the typical way you'd expect (sounding off to the media while doing push-ups, natch); nope, T.O. went out and got himself a blog at Yardbarker.
Well, since this appears to be a rather open-ended, although not necessarily rhetorical, question, as opposed to, say, a statement that Carter is an idiot or deserves to be fired, allow me to answer the Cowboys' wide receiver:
Everyone would think you are still as crazy as we thought you were, only just a little more violent.
I will say, though, that it's pretty impressive that T.O. decided to come out, write a blog and be classy about the way he responded to Carter. What Carter said was uncalled for and unprofessional, and I'm not sure why he's not in more trouble or being forced to apologize to Owens. So, yeah, please keep blogging forever, Terrell.
When Sports Announcers Say Dumb Things
"I'd Take One Bullet, and Put It Right in Him ... "
Sounding harsher than he probably meant to, Cris Carter states that Dallas should part ways with Terrell Owens, then compares the act to shooting the brash wide receiver.

Good thing it wasn't Imus that made that remark. The Obama nation would be screaming and crying and Al and Jesse would have something to do for a week or two.

I agree double standard. However I love T O He is talented and wants to win. I am from Texas and have never like the Cowboys until TO came to Dallas. Keep up the good work and don't let any get you down. No one ever says anything about Rome who is not a good quarterback at all. Dallas is trying to make him into something his need.

your ridiculous statement that T.O. was "stirring up trouble, simply by responding to Carter, exposes you as being guilty of doing the same thing. you're just trying to keep people reading your post by making people think T.O. did something wrong.
i'm a cowboy-hating, EAGLES fan, who his a bitter taste in my mouth because of T.O's behaviour. but even i can see that you're intention is to manipulate the reader by putting him in a bad light when he did nothing wrong.
again, the media is the cause of most controversies.

After all of the trouble centered around guns with the few Giants players who were questioned; and, the never ending saga that is one Mr. Jones; Why would Mr. Carter even use the word "gun," let alone say that someone should shoot someone (T.O.). Carter is like so many football greats who decide that they can speak on the air weekend after weekend as a person on experience in the NFl--their entire image goes down the drain. I am not just talking about Carter either. The only former (of recent years) NFL player that has any TV talent is Troy Aikman. Naturally, Frank Gifford and Dan Dierddorf are from the old school and have been very successful, but for most of the guys coming out and being commentators or analysis guys--they should have gone home and raised their families.

I think Phil Simms has more talent than that boneheaded Aikman, who is little more than a Cowboys Cheerleader.

Oh give me a break Will. You have to be a Democrat to make a statement as ridiculous as implying Chris Carter was saying the Cowboys should use violence to get rid of TO? Are you that stupid?

In attempting to discredit Carter you discredit yourself, your mother, your wife, your sister ( if you have any of these) by using a foul description. Why don't you say Carter is a scrotum instead of trying to demean women. Demean him as a man..like oh, you're a dick head.

hey their troy is a pro hall of famer plus colled 3 time super bowl champ, plus many other good things that he has done, i would like to know what you have done in your life, by the way you go after troy i guess you have been in the bigs, or do you just talk a ggod talk and have never walked in a guys shoes like mr aikman, Im just trying to point out tht if you have never done what mr aikman has you have no reason to say bad things about him, of course you have freedom of speech and of course phil simms is really good but to call mr aikman a cheerleader is wrong. Get real ?? How many games does he do when the cownboys playduring the year. he does almost all of the games and if the cowboys our in it he will and does a great jog. but of course i would think just the way your talking you could do a better one. Have you ever been in the big game or our you just a talker.

WHY DO WE ALWAYS GET CAUGHT UP IN THE "WORDS" PEOPLE SAY??? LET'S START LOOKING AT THE "DOER" VS. THE "RECEIVER". LOOK AT WHAT CHRIS CARTER DID IN HIS CAREER VS. WHAT T.O. IS DOING HIS CAREER. IS CARTER AN A_ _ H_ _ _ OR A SPORTS SAINT??? IS T.O. AN A_ _ H_ _ _ OR A SPORTS SAINT. THIS IS WHAT SHOULD DISCUSSED OR CRITISIZED
