In an absolutely stunning report, ESPN's John Barr went on television today and said that Adam "Pacman" Jones, who has just been released by the Dallas Cowboys, was connected to another nightclub shooting in 2007, in addition to the one that took place in Las Vegas during NBA All-Star Weekend."While under NFL suspension in 2007, Pacman Jones was the man behind a shooting that followed a dispute inside a nightclub," Barr reported. "There are also allegations that he offered to pay an accused murderer to do this shooting."
Barr made clear that he was not referring to the infamous "make it rain" incident in Las Vegas in February of 2007, which left a man paralyzed and got Jones suspended.
"The information that we have relates to an incident four months after that, while Jones was on suspension," Barr said.
It is not clear whether the Cowboys' decision to cut ties with Jones today is an effort to head off the bad publicity that is sure to come from ESPN's report. The ESPN show Outside the Lines will go into more depth about the latest allegations about Jones on Sunday.

I don't know why Dallas would be worried about bad publicity - you writers and sports analyst feel free to write what you want anyway whether it's the truth or a lie - the majority are lies. I hope Jerry does not invite Ed Werder from ESPN to work in the new stadium. He was part of the problem too - creating problems when there were none just to be seen/heard on TV. The Boys need to regroup and get it right for next year. In the mean time, leave them alone.

I'm sick of these Cowboys fans talking about leaving the Cowboys alone...they are the most class-LESS organization in the NFL. When you put winning before moral...that's what you get. T.O. said that Ed Werder lied. Tony Romo, Jason Whitten, Roy Williams, and The Head Coach all admit that there was truth to the situation. T.O. looked like the fool for not having the class to at least own up to the situation.

Most fans are getting fed up with professional football and basketball. There seems to be a REAL gangster / thug element permeating both leagues. Outrageous salaries to these immature jerks, make them think they are above the law. They have been pampered,babysay,and tutored since highschool,and this is the end result. We need to BOYCOTT the NFL&NBA games. Empty seats at the stadiums is the way to make a statement for change.

The Cowboys have never been the same since Jerry took over. When Tom Landry and Company were running things players did not get into trouble or if they did they paid a high price. Look at how successful many of Landry's ex players are. Bring back some dignity and class to the game.
I go way back with the Dallas Cowboys, from their first starting QB from the the University of the Pacific, Eddie Lebaron, all the way up to that last game against the Philadelphia Eagles! I think I've seen it all, or I thought I had seen it all! The Cowboys have always had an interesting squad of players that were just an inch or two off of plumb. Now don't think for a second that i'm a Dallas fan, you couldn't be more wrong. I've found though, that the easiest way to beat the Cowboys is leave them to their own demise, the more we talk them up the more they think that their a team of special players, not a team mind you just a bunch of individuals. Oh well, we will still be talking about them next year when they finish 7 & 9. One way or the other WHO gives a shit about the Dallas Cowboys!
Well the experiment didn't work. Jerry Jones took a look at Pacman's stats and thought he would be a good fit for the team. Sometimes things just don't work. Everything will work out for the best. It's not all that serious.

A massive rule of thumb if you want to draft a player like Shotgun Sam Smith maybe you should stay away even if he is great. The names like Sweetness and the Minister of defense were earned names and rightfully so. This childness has to end because it often shows a players immaturity. Both the Payton brothers are known for their play abilities and don't have the names the dominator and lil whippersnapper. So grow up those players need to go back to college and learn and earn their nick names through playing. Like the Fearsome Foursome of the Rams or the Steel Curtain with mean Joe Greene. The are the men of football because they worked hard and earned it through respect. If I was in football I would be called the flea cause I would get squashed on every play.
If you contrast the way Tom Landry handled goof balls like Hollywood Henderson and Duane Thomas with the way Jerry Jones has handled TO and Pac Man you will get an idea of how our morals have deteriated over the years.
