Because you need one more reason to goof off at work on a Friday afternoon.
It's playoff time, people. Four great games this weekend, starting with the Falcons-Cards and Colts-Chargers on Saturday, followed by Ravens-Dolphins and Eagles-Vikings Sunday afternoon. And the best part: the LIons can't lose.
In any event, we'll be chatting it up at 1PM EST. In the meantime, you can see FanHouse "experts" pick the winners here. ("Experts," indeed. Feel free to point, gawk, mock ... we deserve it.) Back in a bit.

I was watching NFL Live (ESPN 2/6 1:PM P) when I heard a commentator say words to the effect that Terrell Owens is some kind of a Hall of Fame Lock?
Have the inmates taken over the asylum? Statistics are only one element of what makes a man a Hall of Famer. Statistics are all Owens has.
Terrell Owens has never materially contributed to a team making a meaningful run in the post-season. Owens has never put a team ahead of his own selfish interests. He has single-handedly disrupted several locker rooms. T.O. is a loser.
The only true material contribution I've seen Owens make to the NFL is his part in the rehabilitation of a player who wasn't even on his team. Terrell Owens held a mirror up to Randy Moss with his antics. Moss took a long hard look in that mirror and he didn't like what he saw. Randy Moss recovered himself and went on to become Hall of Fame material. This is Owens' only contribution. Showing someone else what not to do; in no uncertain terms. That's not nearly enough.
You want to see hall of Fame material? Take a good look at Kurt Warner. He's the real deal. No one made him what he is. He did it for himself. He has every element covered. Statistics, Team Player, Pillar of Society, Team Leader and Winner. Even in the close-one, where Pittsburgh eked out the victory, Warner was still a winner. His performance was exemplary in what may well have been the finest Superbowl ever played.
Kurt Warner's made of whole cloth. Terrell Owens is a straw man.
