It's all over the news, obviously, and that's because Carter is an idiot for saying this. Maybe it's a euphemism, and maybe our culture is far too PC these days, but still, you just don't say that you would do that to someone if you were in charge. Especially when you're paid to give a professional opinion about something. Ridiculous.

I agree with only one thing he shouldn't have said it on the air. I'm a die hard Cowboys fan and although T.O. has helped the team some, he's not worth the trouble. I agree with Carters comment.

If a white sports caster had said this it would be front page stuff, with everyone asking that he be fired. A black guy say's a thing like this, and no one turns an eye towards it. Even though he is right about TO...Dallas should get rid of that bum!

white, black , any color. people need realize that every race has a liberal perspective on their own race meaning they can say certain things amongst themselves that isn't offensive. Get over it, life isn't fair.

Are you not reading what it says above? He is being killed (pardon the pun) for his statements. Why must it always be about Black and white? You comment is stupid.

MM,
How do you know if everything that is said by white sportscasters is even reported? I know it isn't because the news agencies are owned by whites.

Although unfortunate choice of words.....Cris is on to something. ON the other hand the Dallas Cowboys deserve the scum bag T.O. and all the other riff raff they have on their team. Jerry Jones goes to show that arrogance and ignorance go hand in hand. Money can't buy you a Superbowl....get some classy players in the future and let them show how to play with heart not flash.

Chris Carter never did have any class. The problem is he is another one of those ESPN loud mouth hacks that doesn't know anymore than anyone else; but he thinks he does.
When will people finally wise up and quit watching ESPN. Their reporting is so slanted and biased toward certain teams and leagues that it almost makes you want to puke.
However, I do agree that Owens needs to go. He is the prototypical coach killer.

Cris Carter & T.O. are in the same line. Players that should be signed for what they are worth & traded for what they think they are worth (if Carter was still playing). You would be able to have an entire team of first rounders. These type of players have a play here & there but talk to hype themselves into the next level. True players can make plays that both help the team first & themshelves second. They have been what can I do to help me players, Deion "Peion" Sanders is another one the falls into this area. A flashy suit does not make a broadcaster or someone that know much.

One word comes to mind about Carter's statements about T.O.: Jealousy. Cris Is still feeling the pain about being kicked out the NFL because after all he did for the Vikings, they went with the younger more talented Moss, kinda of like what goes on with Shaq and Kobe. From the Viking standpoint you have a WR who has maybe 2-3 good years left in him or a young, troubled but talented WR. We know how the vikings chose. Dont Hate Cris, MOTIVATE. Statements like that take away from the great player you were. How about providing some outlook on what these WR's should be doing instead of trying to stick a fork in them. Im quite sure a few of them watched you play.

A better alternative would be to provide T.O. with a prescription to complete his failed attempt at an O.D., Chris Carter is a funny dude.

Christopher,
If you want to stereotype the issue of violence. Look at the history of the white race. Tell you what, just look at the last century. When you pile up the bodies or weapons that kill, white people win hands down.

I disagree with your comment. Maybe in your area, that is the case but where I am from, guns and violence has no specified color. I like T.O. when he is a team player , not a freakin crybaby. Randy Moss has evolved better than T.O. did.
