The Minnesota Vikings won the NFC North on this Ryan Longwell 50-yard field goal as time expired:
Minnesota didn't exactly set the world on fire, needing a last-second field goal to beat a Giants team that was basically phoning it in as it rested its top players for the playoffs. But when the Vikings needed quarterback Tarvaris Jackson to deliver down the stretch, he did: Jackson hit Bernard Berrian for a 54-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter. Vikings fans have to feel good about that.
Next weekend the Vikings will host the winner of this afternoon's game between the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles.

This game is a perfect example of why Dallas should not even be in the NFL. what a disgrace to the men who have ever played a game.

Well vikings enjoy it while it last because you won't make it to the super bowl. yeah they could beat eagles or cowboys but vikings are not good enough to win the NFC championship that's if they make it that far.

The Vikings looked like they took coaching lessons from Mike Nolan in how to mismanage the time clock before halftime. First, the quarterback should have spiked the ball on first down instead of calling a timeout. Then they should have punted instead of gong for it and giving the Giants the ball with good field position. With the good field position the Giants got 3 points as the first half came to an end. With this terrible clock management they will be one and done in the playoffs.
