Detroit Lions Coach Rod Marinelli: 0-16 Record Speaks for Itself

After his team lost to the Green Bay Packers to become the first 0-16 team in NFL history, Lions coach Rod Marinelli addressed the media:

"The record speaks for itself," Marinelli said. "I felt I gave it my best, but sometimes your best is not good enough."

Asked about whether he might get fired, Marinelli said he would come back into work and talk to Lions owner William Clay Ford on Monday.

Asked if he was glad the season is over, Marinelli said, "No, I could go another 16. Never. No. I love what I'm doing."
