LenDale White Stomps On Terrible Towel

It shouldn't be surprising that this comes form a Jeff Fisher coached team. His teams have always acted like like thugs and arrogant jerks. He encourages it.

Anyone who thinks the Titans dominated that game wasn't watching it. Take away three silly Steeler mistakes (33 yd FG miss, Aaron Smith's penalty that led to a touchdown, and Ben fumble at the 1 and you have a very different outcome. The Steelers easily outgained. When it matters, I think you'll see a different outcome.

I agree 100%! I am a proud Steeler fan who was HORRIFIED at such a display of ignorance! It felt like he was pissing on the flag! That moron deserves to have his can handed to him! That towel is symbolic and means EVERYTHING to Pittsburgh! Karma's a bitch! And Kearse wiping his nose on the towel... we'll really give you something to sniffle over!

Lendale White is a classless idiot who really isn't even worth the time I'm spending typing this message. What a lame and immature gesture. There are so many guys in the NFL and other pro sports that have been pampered and catered to because of their athletic abilities. This type of behavior is just one of the byproducts. Guys disrespecting whoever they want whenever they want without any consequences. (Pacman Jones) I mean who's going to step to a superstar caliber player (if he happens to be an fool) and hold him accountable for his antics? I love the game but we the fans are partly to blame for creating these monsters.

I know this idiot is one of the exceptions and not all players are this way but it's frustrating to see this.

Not suprising coming from a thug like White. No wonder the Steelers passed him up in the draft. This not only disrespects the Steelers and the Steeler fans, but it disrespects the history of the game as the towel has dated back to the 1970s with the greates dynasty of all time. It also disrespects the creator of the terrible towel, the late Myron Cope who has contributed so much to the game. White is obviously too much of a thug to even know what the towel stands for. To a Steeler fan this is almost as bad as stepping on the American flag. I now have a new team which I hate the most, even more than the Ravens or Cowboys, the Tennessee Titans. Let the rivalry begin, and I hope that they meet again in the playoffs.

Dude, I'm all for fans of the road team showing up and supporting their team. Most of the towel stomping and stuff like that is just for the fans entertainment and not to show and disrespect against the Steelers. I'm quite confident there is a lot of respect amongst these two teams' players. But you have to admit, that with so many - and I mean SO MANY - terrible towels being waved in the stands, and in the faces of so many Titans fans, it kinda felt like a little bit of payback for a lot of us Titans' fans in the stands. If the darn thing is so sacred, then why did some Steelers fan so eagerly part with his to me for $10 so I could go tear it and shred it right in front of the tv cameras and photographers? Is that all Myron Cope's memory is worth to a Steelers fan - $10??? I sure hope it's worth more than that!!! I've never heard of the guy until today, but from the mentions he's gotten, he sounds like a really good guy. I hate to hear about the passing of someone who is obviously so loved and respected by so many in Pittsburgh, but if the 'terrible towel' is so synonymous with his name and memory, you should be disappointed that a fellow Steeler's fan parted with his so quickly just to make a fast buck. By the way, the $10 I gave him for the towel so I could shred it and rip it to pieces in front of the tv cameras and photographers was WORTH EVERY PENNY!!! I even bought another one outside the stadium so I could do it again!!! When the Steelers return to Nashville in 4 weeks if they both make it that far, I'll do it again!!! If the Steelers win and make it to another Super Bowl, I'll definately cheer for them in Tampa.

ummm did v really just say if they scored more they would have won... no S*** lol isnt that the point of the game to score on offense and force turnovers and defend against scores on defense which we did. and for the towel incident i agree he shouldn't have stomped it but rather stuck it up ur a** for being such an idiot.
