Ed Werder has had his say plenty this week -- reporting on the alleged turmoil in the Cowboys' house, the whole Terrell Owens-Tony Romo-Jason Witten love triangle. But on Sunday night, after Dallas knocked around the Giants for an important win, T.O. had his turn.
Besides, as T.O. would tell it, everything is hunky-dory. In an interview with NBC after the game, Owens called the team's inner turmoil a fabrication of the media. "I think it was a lack of professionalism on Ed Werder's behalf, just to come up with some of that stuff," Owens said. "Honestly I don't know where none of this stuff came from."Owens reiterated the point that Werder is a dirty, filthy liar during his postgame press conference as well. Of course, in both the presser and NBC interview, Owens palled around with both Romo and Witten. And NBC wasted no time cutting a shot of that trio on the sidelines, laughing and smiling as the Cowboys led late.
For their part, the Cowboys fans did not do a very good job hiding their opinions on the matter -- regardless of what side they support. Some of them really, really think Werder is a hack.
The rest recognize Werder as a guy who's been around for a long time, know that T.O. sabotaged his days in San Francisco and Philadelphia, and believe that all of the recently reported pouting is probably legit. That bunch of Cowboys fans did not hesitate to boo Owens heartily on Sunday night, first prior to the game, and then again when he let a deep ball from Romo slip off his fingertips.
Of course, as John Madden and Al Michaels pointed out during the Sunday night broadcast, winning cures a lot. So, for at least one evening, everything was sunshine and puppy dogs (or the "Good Ship Lollipop", if you prefer Michaels' assessment) for Dallas.
We'll see if Ed Werder's buying that -- or if he's got any response to T.O.'s rants. Please, at least for our viewing pleasure, keep poking at the hornet's nest down there in Dallas.

"who is ungrateful for what the lord god has given you"? That's a very arrogant statement, and I cite a lack of professionalism on your part. But seriously, read what you are writing....it's pretty pathetic. Terrell Owens is just one player, and the level to which people harass him in order to fulfill their own self-esteem needs has gotten very ridiculous. Ed Werder's reporting most likely was BS, given that all of the Dallas Cowboys deny it, except for these "unnamed sources". Werder seems to just be a maggot making his name off of TO's past problems...not that I think we should start harassing Werder now, but think before your so judgmental with TO. Especially saying that he doesn't respect what the lord god....that's what I call sanctimonious and bigoted! TO is an emotional guy, like a lot of people, and a lot of you in his situation probably would have cried in front of the media after getting booed...just a guess.

1. I'm assuming that you mean you're, as in you are.
2. "of" is omitted from between the words "type" and "player".
3. Crybaby is one word.
Just trying to help you get your point across!

Evidently none of you heard the post game interview. Some of the media keep giving T O the 3rd degree and would not give it a rest. T O showed class and kept his cool under difficult circumstances. Give him a break and just lay off him. From some of the postings, some of you have some "real issues" that you should address.

T.O is a waste of the Dallas Cowboy. I love the Cowboys, but when they show T.O it is a waste of time listening to what they have to say about T.O. If he was happy with what the good lord give him, he would be greatful for the things he has. He is a CRY BABY and that is all he will every be. Can't wait until he is gone and never have to hear his name again.

T.O. I love him. He continues to totally work the press and keep himself in the headlines. He has talent, intelligence and enough talent to play on any team.
And he keep shoving it in your faces, you get fused and his game keeps working.
Keep it up T.O. They can't touch you, yet.

T.O. belongs in Dallas. He is a great example of the "Everything is bigger in Texas" motto. His mouth is bigger than anything about him. He doesn't know how to accept the blame for anything, nor does he think that he does any wrong. Thank goodness he doesn't represent the Eagles anymore! Perfect example of an over paid, mediocre player with a big mouth and the inability to back it up.
