Thanks to the Cardinals calling seven running plays during their blowout loss to the Vikings, the Steelers' defense is no longer No. 1 in every significant category. The Steelers are No. 1 in total yardage allowed (239.1 yards per game), No. 1 in passing defense (163.3) and No. 1 in scoring defense, but the Vikings have surpassed them for the title of top rushing defense. After allowing 43 yards to the Cardinals, Minnesota is now allowing 71.8 yards per game while the Steelers, after giving up 112 rushing yards to the Ravens, are allowing 75.8.
But the Steelers are still in good shape to become the first team in the Super Bowl era to lead the league in all four categories. Minnesota has to face the Falcons and Giants, the top two rushing offenses in the league, over the final two weeks of the season. The Steelers have to take on the Titans (No. 5 rushing offense) and the Browns (No. 24 rushing offense) over the final two weeks.

There is no comparison between the Vikings and Steeler defenses. Pittsburgh has proven to be the most dominant def. in the NFL over the course of the season. They clearly stopped the Giants run game in October and just punish opposing teams week after week. December is always a strong month for the Steelers and they will silence the doubters with a win in over the Titans! Look for a 13-3 finish and a strong run at a #6 Super Bowl for the greatest football franchise in the history of the game!
Merry Christmas from the Iron City!

Steelers are without a doubt the team with the most feared defense. We will go on a big time win streak including an appearance at the SuperBowl in Tampa (I believe) against either NY Giants or Dallas or Carolina. I suspect it will be Dallas for some reason. Unfinished business for them as long as no major injuries.
Pittsburgh gets revenge for the last Superbowl that they lost to Dallas. Steelers 31 Cowboys 27

steeler fans need to hope carolina beats ny if they are going to win #1 rushing defense. If NYG win, then the viking game will be irrelevant and Brandon Jacobs won't play because he's been injured
Pitt. is only 61 yards back and pitt will give up < 75 and vikings will probably give up > 120 which makes the deficit only 16 yards heading into week 17
