Yesterday, ESPN's Ed Werder reported that Cowboys wideout Terrell Owens is jealous of what quarterback Tony Romo and tight end Jason Witten have together. It's all very Sweet Valley High, but with more blubbering. Last night, Gretz made an important point, writing, "As we've seen in the past, any relationship that Owens has can be broken ... Remember the moments after the Cowboys' playoff loss to the Giants a year ago and Owens' response? Fast forward to this past Sunday, when Owens, essentially, threw Romo under a moving bus, saying, 'It's his job to go out there and assess what the defense is, and he made that decision.''
Well, good news Cowboys fans who haven't yet given up on the season: T.O. declares that he doesn't have a crush on Romo and isn't jealous of Witten. So the team can get back to the business of trying to make the postseason.
Via the Dallas Morning News' Calvin Watkins:
"I'm not jealous of Witten," Owens said Thursday night. "I'm not jealous of nobody. I can take the approach that I got paid, so screw everything, but that's not me." ...Head coach Wade Phillips, presumably just up from his nap, dismissed the controversy, and then promptly went back to sleep.
"I just want to win," Owens said. "I'm not trying to create a war of words with anybody. I thought we had a productive meeting, and I just talked to [offensive coordinator] Jason [Garrett] about Tony reading the whole play because other people are open besides Witten."
As for Owens' concerns about Romo looking for Witten more than other receivers during games, Watkins writes that, in the last three weeks, Witten has caught more passes than T.O. But since Romo returned from his pinkie injury, he's gone to Owens more than anybody else.
Whatever, points to T.O. for just not going ballistic on Romo on the sidelines. Jeff Garcia and Donovan McNabb are very confused by it all.

It's sad that the media keeps printing what this absolutely crazy person has to say. I am glad he is with the Cowgirls because with him there, they will never win the big game.

It's always the same thing with this piece of sh*t human being that "TO" is; he's an insecure, selfish, "it's all aobut me" chump. You think NFL teams would have figured this out by now. (Of course with Dallas, his owner is cut from the same cloth.) As long as he gets his touches, he's OK...even if the Cowboys get eliminated this Sunday he will be OK wIth it if he gets 10 catches. What a jerk.

Amazing!
First, this was not the NY media reporting this one. Second, T.O. is full of talent and S**T! Lastly, T.O. WILL screw this team as he has done with the Niners and Eagles. What a waste of talent every time he opens his mouth. If he could put as much effort into shutting as he does in his workout regime that he follows, he would be an outstanding athlete. Sorry, T.O., No matter how many records you break, you will always be a big mouth PUNK. Another one of Jerry's kids has gotten out of line. Jerry Jones is a bigger loser than Steinbrenner...........

I saw the game this past Sunday. It was clear to me that T.O. was not really getting the ball. Or atleast, almost everytime that It tried to come his direction, it ended up with the opposite team. No matter how much crap T.O. speaks, he is arguably the best WR in the NFL. Lets get serious, he can get it done if you actually throw it TO HIM. I dont believe he is jealous of anyone, why should he? Hes jealous bcause hes not getting the ball? Hes a jerk bcause he called out Donovan? He is the devil bcause he called out Garcia. These are grown men, they can say what they want to say, they can act how they want to act, in the end, it will be on them. You care about these people so much, house Vick when hes out of jail, cuz he aint got Sh**t no more. Pay Plax's legal bills, bacuse he's about to end up like Vick as well. Get over it, they are who they are, if you dont like them, dont watch them. You aint paying them, get over it. They dont care about us, thats not their job. It might be some of our jobs, but it aint mines. These are just stories that are blown out of proportion, unfortunately, the game has become entertainment, get it? Its entertainment. Let the Boys crumble apart, it was meant to happen. we cant do anything about it except to sit back and watch. Lets get serious people!

i couldn't agree with you more. T.O. is talented. Both on the field and off. He's an athlete and an entertainer. Thats why people tune in to watch. I dont like the Cowboys so I watch them just to see them lose. If they win i tend to get upset but I dont blame anyone for it except myself for watching. I ALWAYS had the option to turn the channel. Nuff said.

Well well what a big surprise, TO at it again, Dallas Cowboys team is full of overpaid whinners and whimpy men. TO, Pacman. all future jail birds. The brains that paid for this season should have their packages removed. This is 1 ball less team. Dallas should be ready to hang them all for for price they pay game tickets. Really with tickets being 400 to 500 a shot who wants tp see crappy azz players complain about there lifes. With most of these players making 300,000 to 500,000 a game you Dallas fan should be just pissed. Hey NFL the fans that make 40,000 to 100,000 a year should boycott the rest of your wasted season.

T.O. is a great player, but there is one thing he is failing to realize. They're trying to take the focus of him so defender can foget about him and throw to other recievers. Then that will open him back up to get the ball. They're actually doing him a favor. If you want to win ball games he has to play hard on ever play. HE aint no QB so how he know what Romo sees back there? He doesn't have 6 to 7 defenders running toward him. Come on T.O. get your head in the game and before jerry jones puts his foot up your you know what and you out the door. I am a cowboys fan by the way.

TO's right. Romo makes poor decisions in favor of throwing the ball to Witten. He's thrown more to TO this year, but have you seen the throws? Half of them are 5 yards over TO's head. Three times in the Pittsburgh game, Romo tried to force the ball to a covered Witten when replays showed that others were WIDE open. This is what happens when you let a 2nd string QB be your starter.
