Terrell Owens and Keyshawn Johnson have a history of clowning each other that dates back to last season. Two months ago, T.O. took time out from complaining that he wasn't getting the ball enough to take a few shots at "Sheshawn." And then, last week, Johnson's ESPN colleague Emmitt Smith announced that the 2008 Cowboys were nothing more than mediocre, which after what happened Sunday, it probably a fair assessment.
Shockingly, Owens isn't terribly impressed with Johnson or Smith. According to the Dallas Morning News' Tim MacMahon, T.O. says he doesn't watch ESPN, but he has plenty to say about two of its NFL analysts who formerly played for the Cowboys. (And the media didn't even have to ask him -- he just starting taking shots!)
"Those two need their own show - Dumb and Dumber," said T.O., who was otherwise jolly while sporting a Cowboys-customized Santa cap and blinking red nose.First, I have no idea who's Lloyd and who's Harry here (and I'm not sure it really matters), Second, given Smith's knack for debacling the English language, I think we have to assume he knows Tashard Choice if for no other reason that he was only off by one letter. That's close enough for government work and Emmitt Smith. Third, yes, Owens has mentioned it a time or 50 that he was the reason Johnson got run out of Dallas, although Keyshawn disagrees.
T.O. called Emmitt a hypocrite for publicly calling the Cowboys a bunch of individual[s], then leaving a message on Greg Ellis' cell phone to pass onto the team. (T.O. wouldn't say what the message was.) T.O. also pointed out that Emmitt doesn't even know the name of the rookie running back who starred against the Steelers, since No. 22 apparently referred to Tashard Choice as Rashard.
As for Keyshawn, T.O. pointed out for the 1,348th time that the Cowboys gave Keyshawn a pink slip so they could sign him.
"Obviously, this guy is still really jealous of me," T.O. said, "because I'm here and this guy is in the booth talking about me and the Cowboys."
(By the way, isn't it infinitely more embarrassing to get cut for Dwayne Jarrett, which is why Johnson and the Panthers parted ways? I say yes, in a landslide.)
Despite their differences, I certainly hope Owens would share his acting secrets with Keyshawn and Emmitt should this whole "Dumb and Dumber" idea take off. It's all about giving back, after all.

I never cared too much for Keyshawn, but at least he wasn't a thug.
And Emmit?! Come on! I'm a Redskins fan and even I can admit that Emmit was a stand-up guy with real character and respect for the game.
I think T.O. has realized that he's only gonna make a name for himself if he makes waves; he makes great catches, but he drops half the balls that hit him in the numbers or the hands.
What a joke...

You people are the ones who need to grow up. Last time I checked, football is entertainment, nothing more!! Stop acting like football is something more than pure entertainment. It's not. The NFL should be THANKING T.O. They try their hardest to suck all the fun out of this great game. T.O. is entertaining, and that's what I pay to see and want to watch, good entertainment!
And T.O is 100% right as well. Smith and Johnson are COMPLETE idiots. Smith was a great player, no doubt, doesn't mean he should be saying a word on tv. Johnson, mediocre player, and a terrible TV guy. I've never understood what he did to get that job.
You people need to RELAX, trying having some fun for once in your life.

Thank you Dan! Emmitt WAS a great player when he had great people beside him. Then let me see.. what was that dumbass statement he made????? Oh yeah "i feel like im a diamond amonst trash here in Dallas" So he went to the cardinals... Got his shoulder broke by none other than Roy Williams.. and sucked the remainder of his career. Now he runs his mouth saying the most retarded things. And do we really need to get into Keyshawn.. really? It seems to me that if you played for Dallas and left for any reason other than retirement.. You run your mouth cause your pissed you left in the first place. T.o. is not the most intelligent person in the world.. but the entertainment is awesome! It makes it worth it to watch football when the commissioner has turned it into a pansy ass game. (other than the dirty D of the steelers that is... )

Most players in the NFL have been playing from childhood when you start that young its because you love the SPORT not because its "entertainment" as your small mind so called it. HE has earned the right to make his comments good or bad T.O. has not. This cannot be argued by anybody including T.O. that truly knows football.I bleed COWBOY blue and this season is'nt easy to digest, however the truth is they are middle of the road. Defense is or should now be #1 the offense is whats lacking. Tony had a bad game thats for sure however I saw a lot of dropped balls in the end the entire offense needs work. The bottom line is your a COWBOY or you aint deal with it ,I know there my team until I'm dead.

I am a die hard Cowboy fan. I do agree TO talks to much. However, if you look at every game Romo has at least one turn over. I think he panics under pressure. I don't care if he is throwing to TO or Jason. He does not take care of the football. Am I blaming all losses on Romo? No, but he has a great deal to do with them. Dallas has to have some leadership on both offense and defense. Somebody has to step up. Jerry Jones needs to let his coaches coach and stay out of it. The last super bowl was with Jimmy Johnson who coached the team the way he wanted and that my friend is why he is gone. Jimmy took leadership and held his team accountable. Wade is too laid back for me.

The only entertaining I want or need to see is between the lines! Period end of story and real fans of this game only care about that part of the game the rest is destracting and if I wanted that I would watch "wrastling"!
