Bitter Playmaker Packer Fan Unnecessarily Swats Touchdown Gift Back Onto Field

A group of Carolina Panthers fans braved the seemingly unbraveable Sunday afternoon; if you watched the thrilling Packers-Cats game on FOX, you most certainly noticed the group of teal and black wearing adventurers that were sitting just off to the right of one end zone. And you noticed them because as DeAngelo Williams rumbled all over Green Bay for a quartet of scores, he kept tossing the game ball to the Panthers fans. Finally, the Cheesehead behind them had enough, and, as you will see, launched the fourth ball back onto the field.

Now, one could call this "making plays," I suppose, but then again, one could also call this "bitter as hell." You see, DeAngelo scored the go-ahead touchdown here following a gorgeous Jake Delhomme-to-Steve Smith deep ball, and the Pack probably realized their day was donecakes. So, yeah, "bitter playmaker" is probably a fair assessment.

The Pack should sign him up, we need all the special teams help we can get. As far as the rejected ball, don't come into our house and expect to rub our noses in our troubles.

yeah i remember seeing this sunday and what your vid doesn't show is that the crowd cheered loudly after he did it. i thank you for writing this brinson

i really must say it was a very classless act. that's what i LOVE about Carolina though, we don't fight and in fact we show southern hospitality to fans of opposing teams. the last game i went to in charlotte was when the panthers played the Lions a few weeks back, i was actually hanging out with some guys who'd come down from detroit at half time and me and my boys were telling them what they could do to enjoy themselves when they came to carolina. this would never have happened in charlotte because we have class in carolina

neil, accepting a souvenir from a player is not "rub(bing) (your) noses in (your) troubles". Come to Carolina next time we host Green Bay. We'll let you keep all of Ryan Grant's touchdown balls if he gives them to you
