The Detroit Lions had a pretty bad Thanksgiving. They got beat up and down the field by the Tennessee Titans and were humiliated as far as to give up 100 yards to two different running backs in front of their home fans. But that wasn't enough for LenDale White, who decided he needed to rub things in a bit by calling the Lions "weak ass n*****s"
I have no idea if he'll get fined or yelled at or if just nothing will happen (my guess is the latter), but goshdarn LenDale ... if you're going to be inappropriate, be mean to someone whose season you're not helping to flush down the toilet.

In the past two weeks this guy has wined when he didn't get the rock enough. Like we're suppose to believe him getting the ball more would have changed the outcome of the Jets loss. And now this week he shows his absolute lack of class. He's a punk. In the same league as a Popeye Jones, Terrell Owens and Chad Johnson. They are their biggest fan and their worst enemy. Do yourselves a favor idiots, get an emotional reality check!!

Please. You think there haven't been worse things said on a football field?
Hell, you think there haven't been worse things said about that particular team by its own fans?
You don't look any more impressive to me standing on this soapbox. Let it go already.

The point wasn't targeted at the comment A.J.. My attack was on the so called professional men that play this game and act like children...no less than children. At least children shape up after being slapped in the hand. White is a fat punk that shows how completely full of self seeking glory he is. I'm well aware of grown men spewing their mouth in the heat of battle...I've done it as much as anyone. I'm only taking this time to address White as a foolish child that got off on pumping his chest against a team they were SUPPOSE to beat. Lets see how much chest pounding he does against a team like Pittsburgh. Then you can come back on here and defend him when he runs his mouth about how he didn't think Pittsburgh was that tough...or how he didn't get the ball enough...or how the calls were pathetic against them.

I absolutly agree with steel and m if lendale were white it would be a bad situation around the league and he as a white person would probably be a target for retrobution for black players and the demand for a fine or suspension would leave the commissioner with his hands tied though (i think that the commissioner is RACIST and probably enjoyed hearing lendale use that word) he would have no other choice but to make an example of the white player i would rather lendale just call them weak azz b--ches then using the n-word. and this is comming from a black man.

real pro type guy! if i remember right, last year a back east team was undefeated and got like that with some of the late (easy) teams and then got their asses handed to them in the big one. maybe we should hope for the same for the Titans. also, if one gets away with that kind of trash talk, then maybe i need to say "good-bye" to the NFL.

I'm not saying it's right. I'm saying, don't single out Lendale or any other individual player because it happens all over the league.
Although I do think that Lendale would be better served in releasing that pent-up energy in doing a little jig, perhaps. Unfortunately, in the upside-down world of Roger Goodell, that's a fine.
You want a prime reason that the league has gone the way it has the last couple of years? Look no further than the man up top.
I think Goodell's attempt to make football more of a 'pop culture spot' is actually driving the sport into the ground. Ever since he became commissioner, I've gotten the impression that he's been trying to paint the NFL as the type of sport you can take home to your mom.
It's a bunch of dudes knocking the hell out of each other for an entire afternoon.
It's actually a shame that Goodell's trying so hard to make football more popular, because it's actually made it less entertaining. You see one of your favorite linebackers light up a guy on a hated rival's team in a completely legal but especially forceful manner. Outside, you're cheering, but inside, you're wondering when the hell Goodell and his goons are gonna lay their own brand of smackdown and hold out their hands asking for a check.
Football is an emotional game. Things are said out of emotion. Things are done out of emotion. If you start taking away possible ways to express that emotion, it's just going to come out through other avenues.
Mark my words; the two worst cancers in the entire NFL right now are Al Davis and Roger Goodell. Once the league is rid of either or both of them, it will be a lot better off.

What's with the title to this post? Did you want to use the most awkward phrasing you could? Or where you going for the "gramatically incorrect fragment" route?

man, guys from Denver like LenDale always do this kind of tough talk and are relentless with it and never shut up doing it. It's like theyed to overcompensate for the fact that their town really isnt all that hard.
Like DJ Quik said, "Oakland: Is just lyke Compton... Yeah and Denver: They wanna be lyke Compton"

What a low-class, punk-ass, piece of trash! How is he getting away with this? he should be suspended for the rest of the season. If a white guy said that crap he would have been banned from football for life. Is he proudof beating the Lions? Most college teams could do that. If Goodell has anything in his pants this clown will get some serious slap-down. Usually I never want to see an athlete get hurt, but if his leg gets busted in a game I wlii cheer until I can't talk anymore and send the player who did it a Thank You card. What a jerk-off, loser, fart-knockin, thug. He's got to go!

Why does everyone care what an athlete has to say about his opponent? It's football, trash talk is part of the game. Michael Jordan (one of the most revered athletes of all time) was considered the king of trash talk. You think if the Lions won they wouldn't be talking trash?? The players on the Lions deserve the comments made by Lendale and if they don't want to be talked badly about start stepping up your game. The real problem is the product the Detroit Lions are putting on the field, not what a player from an opposing team said.

Oh yeah, some "weak ass n---r named LenDale White. Who's zoomin who now Lendale.........Bi--h!!!
