Yes, that was the Pee-wee Herman dance, and it was the subject of conversation in the Saints' locker room on Wednesday.
The Baton Rouge Advocate reports:
"It was just something I did messing around with some of the guys on the offensive line," Ellis said Wednesday. "I was joking around with them and told them I was going to do it. I was really just joking, and they were like, 'You should really do it.' "Unfortunately for Ellis, I'm guessing Roger Goodell didn't love it. NFL players who dance on the field usually get fined, and Ellis's Pee-Wee dance will likely be no exception. So he did, in front of a national TV audience.
"It was very creative, it came out of the woodwork," said defensive end Bobby McCrary, who watched from few feet away. "I've never seen anybody do that on a football field."
"Sedrick said he was going to do it the first time he got a sack (earlier in the season), but he didn't," offensive tackle Jammal Brown said with a smile. "I knew this time it was coming out, and I loved it ... I loved it."

I'm really getting sick of these silly ass celebrations. The Packers are getting the hell beat out of them and Mr. Ellis is celebrating by himself on the great game he is having. It's pathetic.
It started with the "White Shoes Wiggle", the Charlie Taylor "TD Statue", and then "The Icky Shuffle". It was cool for awhile. They used to do it for those wierd things that meant something, like "touchdowns". It's getting way out of hand and very annoying. Shit, now they have flowers sent to the huddle if they catch a pass and a limo ride to the new line of scrimage if they were lucky enough to get the first down. That is if they don't get a delay of game penalty because the celebration took too damn long.
There used to be a time when, after running the ball down someone's throat or tearing their head off while in the process of making a tackle, they would hand the ball back to the ref. Act like you've done this before, right? I thought that is why they got paid the big bucks. Play fired-up, tough, and with emotion but show the fans, your opponent, and the game some respect.
I may sound like a damn fossil or too old school but dancing when you make a catch for eight yards on third and ten or doing the "Pee Wee" on national TV for a sack and your team is losing is just f___ing wrong.

Stoney, take the stick out of your ass. He's a rookie who just sacked a QB during a great win by his team. You'd be wetting yourself with glee in that situation. I hate USC, but more power to him if he has fun while he plays football.
