Sedrick Ellis Does the Pee-Wee Herman

When New Orleans Saints defensive tackle Sedrick Ellis sacked Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers on Monday night, he had an interesting celebration:

Yes, that was the Pee-wee Herman dance, and it was the subject of conversation in the Saints' locker room on Wednesday.

The Baton Rouge Advocate reports:
"It was just something I did messing around with some of the guys on the offensive line," Ellis said Wednesday. "I was joking around with them and told them I was going to do it. I was really just joking, and they were like, 'You should really do it.' "

So he did, in front of a national TV audience.

"It was very creative, it came out of the woodwork," said defensive end Bobby McCrary, who watched from few feet away. "I've never seen anybody do that on a football field."

"Sedrick said he was going to do it the first time he got a sack (earlier in the season), but he didn't," offensive tackle Jammal Brown said with a smile. "I knew this time it was coming out, and I loved it ... I loved it."

Unfortunately for Ellis, I'm guessing Roger Goodell didn't love it. NFL players who dance on the field usually get fined, and Ellis's Pee-Wee dance will likely be no exception.
