Remembering Sean Taylor, One Year Later

Today is Thanksgiving for all of us, but to Sean Taylor's family, friends and fans it is a day we will never forget. One year ago today, Taylor passed away from injuries sustained from gunshot wounds during a botched robbery attempt.

As the FanHouse's resident Redskins fan, I've been trying to figure out what I wanted to say in this post and still can't come up with the words to explain how I feel. It just goes back to what I felt inside during the week of his death. Instead of rambling on and stumbling all over myself, I thought I'd put up the video of the Redskins' tribute to Taylor prior to their game with the Bills. That was the first scheduled game after Taylor's death.

This Sunday, the Redskins will induct Taylor into their Ring Of Honor. We still miss you, Sean.

I was at that game. It was a sad day. I still miss him, both as a person and as the best safety in the NFL. RIP #21
